Founded by Bruno Fattorini in 1992, MDF Italia has always stood at the forefront of creativity, innovation and design. Since 2007, the company has been led by the Cassina family holding—strengthening a vision rooted in simplicity, lightness of form and design challenge, refining a minimalist approach with a more sophisticated, warm character. MDF Italia’s collections are conceived to last beyond trends, adapting naturally to different contexts, from residential spaces to work and hospitality settings. In 2019, MDF Italia acquired Acerbis, an Italian company with over 150 years of history, marking the meeting of two realities united by shared values of design and innovation.

The centrepiece of the exhibition space is the Array sofa system by Norwegian studio Snøhetta. Array introduces a forward–thinking concept: a modular system that adapts to diverse contexts. Each module is designed for easy transport, disassembly, and reassembly, enabling flexible solutions for replacement, recycling, and reconfiguration. This redefines comfort, integrating ergonomics with usability, modularity, and production efficiency. Embracing a vision of sustainability, Array features a base in 100% recycled polypropylene, injection–molded with a hollow core to minimise material use. The seat and backrest are moulded in bio–polyurethane foam, 51% recycled. Array responds to contemporary demands for adaptability and eco–responsibility.

Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years.
This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.

Birgitte Due Madsen is a Copenhagen-based artist and designer working across furniture, objects, and sculptural form. Her practice centres on materiality, light, and aesthetics, exploring how structure and surface inform both function and perception. Working with materials such as gypsum, resin, wood stone, and concrete, she develops pieces through a process that moves from abstraction to precise realization. The work spans custom commissions, serial designs, and unique pieces, often produced in close dialogue with manufacturers. Defined by tactile textures, controlled colour, and a distinct geometric language, each object reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and a considered approach to form, material, and use.
