Rosti is a Danish brand, founded in 1944 by Rolf Fahrenholz and Stig Jørgensen, and known for its functional kitchen utensils, now sold worldwide. The brand’s best–known classic is undoubtedly the Margrethe bowl. This distinctive bowl was of Acton Bjørn and Sigvard Bernadotte and has been produced since the early 1950s. In 1954, it was named after Queen Margrethe II. It is all about making everyday life easier. Form and function go hand in hand in a simple, timeless expression, created by talented Danish designers across generations. Quality is a cornerstone of Rosti’s range. A–POC, the acronym of 'A Piece Of Cloth', is the name of the integrated design and manufacturing system first introduced in Paris by Issey Miyake in 1998. A–POC revolutionised the process of clothes–making with its innovative concept of a streamlined, all–in–one operation, in which all the parts of the clothing are pre–woven into a single piece of cloth. Launched in 2021, A–POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE aims to realise the infinite potential of the A–POC system with society in mind—hence the name 'ABLE'. The brand’s designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae and his team of engineers value the dialogue between creator and wearer, as they engage with different professions and industries to further explore new possibilities in design and making.
