Rosti is a Danish brand, founded in 1944 by Rolf Fahrenholz and Stig Jørgensen, and known for its functional kitchen utensils, now sold worldwide. The brand’s best–known classic is undoubtedly the Margrethe bowl. This distinctive bowl was of Acton Bjørn and Sigvard Bernadotte and has been produced since the early 1950s. In 1954, it was named after Queen Margrethe II. It is all about making everyday life easier. Form and function go hand in hand in a simple, timeless expression, created by talented Danish designers across generations. Quality is a cornerstone of Rosti’s range. Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. Koukos de Lab is a material–driven design studio based in Lesvos, Greece, exploring sustainable design through research, experimentation, and local production. The studio develops innovative materials and objects by transforming agricultural by–products into meaningful design resources. At the core of its practice is Koukoutsi, an eco–material made from the final waste of olive oil production, primarily olive cores and pips. Designed as a sustainable alternative to conventional materials, Koukoutsi combines durability, water resistance, and a distinctive tactile quality. Suitable for objects, furniture, and surface applications, it reflects Koukos de Lab’s commitment to circular design and responsible material transformation today, locally.
