During 3daysofdesign, Vermland presents existing and new design releases while joining fellow Danish brands Thorup Copenhagen and Veark for a curated collective exhibition in the heart of Copenhagen. Origin Made is a Porto–based craft–focused design brand founded in 2019 by Gabriel Tan and Cherie Er, built on the belief that meaningful objects emerge from direct dialogue between designers and makers. Pairing international designers with Iberian craftspeople, the brand develops contemporary furniture, lighting, textiles, and collectible objects that celebrate regional craft traditions. Each piece is shaped as much by the hands that make it as by the concept behind it, a process that values collaborative contemplation, material honesty, and the irreplaceable knowledge held by skilled craftspeople.

Based in India, the studio is rooted in ancient wisdom, where sustainability and care are integral to everyday living. Working closely with local artisans and locally sourced wood, the furniture draws from South Asian traditions of sitting and spatial setting. Naturally seasoned, aged trees—crafted without nails or screws—form the core language of the work. A life–centred approach ensures no harmful disruptors enter the environment, protecting everyone from maker to end user. Continually pushing the boundaries of furniture typology, the studio explores Indian minimalism while revisiting traditional skills through a contemporary lens, creating pieces that hold space and life in equal measure.

Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Inspired by Bornholm’s nature and light, its tactile materials resonate with works by local and international artists. During 3daysofdesign, you can visit Galleri Sonja in Kvindernes Bygning.

COR Sitzmöbel stands for interior design culture, aesthetic appeal and excellent seating comfort. The premium brand has been owner–managed since it was established in 1954. COR Sitzmöbel manufactures excellent quality seating and upholstered furniture for international markets at its production facility in Rheda–Wiedenbrück, Germany. The famous classic sofa Conseta is part of the product range since 1964. All upholstered furniture products have the Blue Angel eco–label seal of approval and the Greenguard Gold certificate. The production site has been climate–neutral through offsetting since 2020.

Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Iteration Collective hope to inspire future generations of designers and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design and sustainability.
