Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. Good quality, craftsmanship and Danish production were the key principles that Duus & Møller was founded upon, and the ambition is to keep working by that mantra. The passion for Danish craftsmanship and Danish design is rooted in traditions and a guiding principle to increase the sustainability of Duus & Møller's furniture collection. The brand collaborates with competent architects and combine Danish craft traditions with new ideas from young, talented cabinetmakers. Duus & Møller furniture is developed with inspiration from Danish design classics. This is done through minimalistic models made from solid FSC–certified wood, handcrafted and cared for with a respect for the raw material. Duus & Møller furniture is made to last.
