During 3daysofdesign, Vermland presents existing and new design releases while joining fellow Danish brands Thorup Copenhagen and Veark for a curated collective exhibition in the heart of Copenhagen. Troldtekt designs, develops and manufactures acoustic panels made from Danish wood and cement. The company’s mission is to improve acoustic comfort in buildings while ensuring a healthy indoor climate and offering architects a wide range of design possibilities. Since 2012, Troldtekt has placed the Cradle to Cradle® design concept at the core of its business strategy, with a continuous focus on creating value for the environment, society and business. The combination of wood and cement gives the panels unique sound–absorbing properties, ensuring good acoustics in any room. The material is resilient, suitable for moist environments and provides effective fire protection.

What began over 20 years ago as a spontaneous experiment in Tom Rossau’s Copenhagen workshop has evolved into a distinctive design philosophy. While shaping wooden slats into a cylindrical form, Tom discovered the expressive potential of light, material, and form, and a new chapter in Danish lighting design was born. Today, the collection has grown to include a wide range of materials and styles, yet the brand remains rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and sculptural design. Each lamp is still meticulously designed and handcrafted in Copenhagen, with a strong focus on quality and responsible production, bringing Danish design to interiors around the world.
