Copenhagen based Icelandic – Danish designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi – an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic-free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.

Ark Journal presents the third edition of DESIGN / DIALOGUE, an exclusive exhibition during 3daysofdesign bringing together leading international brands in a highly curated setting shaped by conversation, exchange and cultural relevance. As a premium platform at the intersection of design, art and architecture. The aim is to elevate and promote design both nationally and internationally, offering brands powerful visibility within an editorially driven context. With Ark Journal’s curatorial team at the core and in collaboration with Pernille Vest, exhibitors are invited to participate in shaping this holistic environment by contributing pieces that feel authentic and meaningful within a cohesive spatial narrative with artistic resonance.
