Gudbrandsdalens Uldvarefabrik (GU) is a Norwegian textile manufacturer based in Lillehammer, known for its craftsmanship, material expertise, and timeless design. Rooted in Norwegian nature and tradition, GU develops upholstery textiles that combine aesthetics, durability, and sustainability. All production takes place locally, with every stage—from spinning to weaving and finishing—carried out under one roof. This ensures full control over quality, traceability, and responsible production. With a deep understanding of wool’s natural properties, GU refines and reinterprets the material to meet the needs of contemporary interiors.
Inside Norway is a design exhibition by the Norwegian design industry featuring six leading brands across diverse design disciplines—from furniture, beds and interiors to wool textiles and natural stone. The exhibition highlights Norway's rich design tradition, where functionality, high quality, focus on sustainability and aesthetics come together. All brands are rooted in Norway, from locally sourced materials to production based in Norway.
