Graduate designer Anke Neumann makes handmade paper glow in an unusual way. In her workshop, she makes large–format papers, incorporating light–conducting fibres. Similar to veins, these run through the paper surface and also form a kind of framework that contributes to the stability of the form. LED light is guided through the fibres and emitted laterally outwards in the paper layer. Together with the material aesthetics and design language, the light papers combine sculpture, luminaire and unique piece. They are not just objects that attract a lot of attention due to their shape. They are capable of enchanting a room, bathing it in poetic light.

Amidst the stone spectators of the Kings Collection, the paperworks contrast in their lightness and at the same time connect through their sculptural character. In the stairwell, visitors are escorted up and down by an poetic light installation that seems to be infinite. Visitors are also invited to try out the technique of paper making for themselves, with minimal effort.
