Lapalma’s story began over 40 years ago in Padua, Italy, rooted in a heritage of craftsmanship. As the company evolved from artisan workshop to industry, the spirit of craft remained central, enriched through collaborations with international designers. Lapalma creates furniture defined by durability and timeless design. Sustainability rhymes with quality, with every stage of production carefully controlled in-house and largely powered by solar and geothermal energy, while working exclusively with local suppliers. Discover the Lapalma's indoor and outdoor collection at 3daysofdesign.

At Lapalma, keeping it real means staying true to their roots. As a family–owned company, Lapalma designs and manufactures every piece in their own factory in Italy, where craftsmanship and passion come together to create furniture that lasts. For 3daysofdesign 2025, Lapalma proudly embraces the theme KEEP IT REAL—a call to honour authenticity, individuality, and conscious design. In a world of mass production, they stand by their commitment to quality, sustainability, and timeless aesthetics, crafting each product with care, expertise, and a deep respect for materials. Arthur Rottier is a designer and product developer based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. His practice moves between commissioned work and self–initiated projects, driven by an interest in how objects can be conceived and produced locally using contemporary means. The work is defined by advanced, computer–controlled engineering and production methods, careful finishing, and a restrained approach to form. Durability is central: materials are chosen for wear resistance, constructions are clear and legible, and connections are simple. Affordability is considered part of the design challenge. At the core of the practice lies the belief that beauty is essential to sustainability. Objects that are valued are cared for, and what is cared for lasts.

Guided by the philosophy “Flatness is the Point”, Flat Point creates interior pieces that integrate seamlessly with their surroundings. This harmony goes beyond simplicity, becoming a defining point that elevates spatial aesthetics through a refined, minimalist approach. Rather than pursuing variety for its own sake, Flat Point focuses on depth—exploring materials and methods of making with care and precision. Through a balance of aesthetic sensitivity and engineering expertise, the brand shapes its own interpretation of the flat point: discovering quiet, natural moments within restrained beauty.

Formosus Home was born from a desire to bridge the traditions of Eastern craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. The brand’s mission is to revive Taiwan’s endangered woodworking heritage, merge it with modern design, and share exceptional furniture with the world. Based in Amsterdam, Formosus Home places these masterful skills on a global stage, creating a dialogue between Eastern heritage and Western design sensibilities. Its furniture is designed to reveal its character quietly over time rather than demand attention. By prioritising solid wood and natural materials, each piece is inherently repairable, making recycling a distant last resort.
