As the company evolved from artisan workshop to industry, the spirit of craft remained central, enriched through collaborations with international designers. Lapalma creates furniture defined by durability and timeless design. Sustainability rhymes with quality, with every stage of production carefully controlled in-house and largely powered by solar and geothermal energy, while working exclusively with local suppliers. Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

In parallel, Ahare Space Project explores scent as architecture itself, designing immersive experiences that shift perception. By reading the essence of a place, they create scents within an architectural context, investigating how scent can transform environments and identities. Through the intersection of product and project, AHARE creates a signature of scent within space.
