KOS Studio specializes in the fusion of interior and product design, driven by a profound dedication to quality craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability. Embracing the principles of soft minimalism and simplicity, objects by KOS Studio provides the idea that design should be more than just visually appealing. It should also engage the senses, creating a connection that captivates both the intellect and the body. Leading this concept, studio finds its mission in distilling the very essence of design, crafting pieces that not only capture the eye but also provide tactile experience.

At ‘Forward to the Roots', KOS Studio exhibition during 3daysofdesign, the spotlight falls on the blend of time-honored Scandinavian craftsmanship and contemporary design. The Balls Tables pay homage to the art of beadwork, a quintessential element in Nordic craft. This collection acts as a bridge between the past and the present, inviting the exhibition guests to touch and feel. Complementing the tables, the chair emerges as a modern throne, inspired by the lore of the Norse gods, weaving into the narrative of Scandinavian mythology. ‘Forward to the Roots' presents a journey through time while embracing modernity. Each piece narrates the tale of a return to origins, celebrating Scandinavian design - its past, present and future.

The story of sog begins in the world of bespoke furniture in Japan, where its creators listened to countless stories—the single line drawn by an architect, the quiet wish of a user. To answer each one, the brand's artisans sculpted wood, tailored fabrics, and bent metal. The myriad forms born and then vanished in this process became what they call the “memories of design.” From this vast accumulation of memories and experience, “sog” was born: a brand that carves out the "So” (素)—the elemental form destined to become the standard of the future.

Guided by the philosophy “Flatness is the Point”, Flat Point creates interior pieces that integrate seamlessly with their surroundings. This harmony goes beyond simplicity, becoming a defining point that elevates spatial aesthetics through a refined, minimalist approach. Rather than pursuing variety for its own sake, Flat Point focuses on depth—exploring materials and methods of making with care and precision. Through a balance of aesthetic sensitivity and engineering expertise, the brand shapes its own interpretation of the flat point: discovering quiet, natural moments within restrained beauty.

HUBBUB develops 100% natural acoustic materials for architecture, replacing synthetic layers in acoustic systems. Made from jute fibres and natural latex, without added plastics, the material combines documented performance with long lifespan and architectural integrity. ESSENCE surfaces remain open and breathable, preserving acoustic performance while adding tactile depth. Natural elements are pressed into the surface, becoming part of its texture rather than applied decoration. Designed in Denmark, the material stores carbon and is developed for long-term use.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.
