Founded in Japan, YAMAGIWA has spent more than 100 years creating spaces where lighting is shaped by a deep sensitivity to beauty. Beyond illumination, light is approached as a way of shaping atmosphere—bringing comfort, clarity, and a quiet emotional resonance to a space. YAMAGIWA makes its debut at 3daysofdesign with a quiet world shaped by gradation and pause—where light is sensed as presence, and shadow gives it room to breathe. Rooted in Japanese craftsmanship, the exhibition draws attention to moments often left unspoken: the way nuance takes shape through restraint, and how atmosphere is formed not by emphasis but by balance. Within this setting, a subtle dialogue emerges between clarity and calm, detail and distance. New collections unfold within this register as contemporary expressions shaped with a sense of time and continuity.
