Iittala’s design story began in 1881 and continues to thrive at the glass factory in Iittala village, Finland. With a deep commitment to craftsmanship, Iittala is a pioneer of avant–garde design in coloured glass and ceramics. Every piece created is more than an object—it reflects the skill, artistry, and experimental spirit of those who shaped it, preserving tradition while shaping the future of design.

To celebrate 90 years of the Aalto vase, Iittala presents the Aalto 90 Pavilion at the public square in Ofelia Plads. Shaped after Alvar Aalto’s celebrated design, the pavilion invites visitors to step inside the form itself and experience an immersive soundscape created especially for the occasion. Within the pavilion, Iittala unveils its exclusive Aalto City Vases, presented as part of the spatial experience. The pavilion is a place for encounters, reflection, and sensory immersion—bringing together past, present, and future through one of the most enduring symbols of design during 3daysofdesign.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise. From spectacle to substance: if objects can be read, it’s because they have something to say. These are slow–cooked products, crafted to last, designed to be passed down through generations.

Life is too short for boring lighting. At Wever & Ducré, they know it—the familiar glimpse at the ceiling during which one thinks: “Well, everyone really does have that light.” That is why they strive to achieve lighting solutions that first and foremost fit the description: unique. Who inspires them in the process? People like you, who share their enthusiasm for beautiful things and attach as much importance to noble design as to high-quality workmanship. Does it sound passionate? Well, that’s exactly what it is. After all, life is simply far too short for boring light fixtures.
