Founded in 2019 and backed by two decades of woodworking expertise, the company uses only FSC—certified, eco–friendly materials to create child-safe products with a minimal environmental footprint. Prioritising smooth, curved surfaces, its designs combine Scandinavian simplicity with lasting durability. With a strong presence in Scandinavia and a global reach across the EU, USA, and Canada, all products are proudly crafted in Greece under strict EU standards, reflecting thoughtful design, sustainable materials, and timeless quality.

What started back in 2012 as a one–man show has now, in little more than a decade, become an established European design brand: Freifrau Manufaktur. Operating from Lemgo, a small town in Westphalia, Germany, this exclusive manufacturer of seating furniture is characterised by the highest possible levels of comfort, lovingly–rendered details, and exacting quality and sustainability standards. Working with big–name designers and those at the start of their careers alike, since it was founded, Freifrau has built up a portfolio of timeless chairs, armchairs, and settees, wide–ranging and yet all with a unifying emphasis on individual comfort, total versatility, and undeniable individuality.
