CRÈME ATELIER is a Swedish brand driven by design and sustainability. Its iconic Soft Serve lamps feature swirling forms and warm ambient light, adding elegance and playfulness to any space. Each lamp is 3D-printed in Stockholm using rPLA from corn starch and recycled packaging, minimizing waste. As pioneers in 3D-printed lighting, CRÈME merges innovation with craftsmanship, ensuring all production, assembly, and shipping are in-house to reduce its carbon footprint. Expanding its range, CRÈME is set to launch its first furniture piece, redefining sustainable design with cutting-edge 3D printing.

During 3daysofdesign 2025, CRÈME ATELIER will showcase a space dedicated to individual expression, embracing the theme KEEP IT REAL. At the heart of the exhibition is the Éclair Chair and Vase, inspired by the curves of pastry frosting. Made from recycled PETG, these new additions represent a bold step into furniture and object design, complementing CRÈME ATELIER’s established expertise in lighting. Their sculptural, tactile forms reflect the brand’s commitment to sustainability and conscious design—both in concept and material. Located on the third floor of the House of Design, the space will feature sheer curtains and a ceiling installation echoing the swirled forms of the new designs.

Koukos de Lab is a material–driven design studio based in Lesvos, Greece, exploring sustainable design through research, experimentation, and local production. The studio develops innovative materials and objects by transforming agricultural by–products into meaningful design resources. At the core of its practice is Koukoutsi, an eco–material made from the final waste of olive oil production, primarily olive cores and pips. Designed as a sustainable alternative to conventional materials, Koukoutsi combines durability, water resistance, and a distinctive tactile quality. Suitable for objects, furniture, and surface applications, it reflects Koukos de Lab’s commitment to circular design and responsible material transformation today, locally.

Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. You can sense it in the whole—it simply feels right. FUNCTION / FRICTION / FINESSE / FOGIA

Botané is building a new category at the intersection of interior design, sustainability and modern aesthetics. Created to bring botanical design into everyday spaces, Botané offers a lasting alternative to perishability, designed to remain rather than disappear. Approached as an interior discipline, botanical design is treated with the same intention as furniture, objects and architectural elements. Each composition is shaped through proportion, texture and spatial balance, becoming part of how a space is experienced rather than something that fades from it. More than decoration, botanical design shapes atmosphere; calm, coherent and enduring.

The world needs change—more sustainability, stronger communities, and a better life for all. That’s why design isn’t just about creating something new; it’s also about improving what already is there, making it more beautiful, functional, playful, and appealing. It’s about listening to people’s needs and involving them in creating future solutions. At Kolding School of Design, creative people from all over the world come together to do just that—through craftsmanship, artistic expression, and research. The teaching is based on practical experience, the latest knowledge, and close collaboration with the outside world.
