Introducing Display / Displayed, a group exhibition for 3daysofdesign in collaboration with Simone Book Services that looks at objects of and for display across books, design, and photography. An exercise in creative collaboration, the presentation has been curated and produced by marketing agency Large Office, photography studio Mannners, sculptor Nicholas Shurey, and brand consultant Rhya Johnston-Wallace. Bringing together the works of international artists and local collaborators, it features works from Aarticles (Copenhagen), Anton Defant & Karst (Berlin), Derya Arpaç (Copenhagen), Jessi Burch (New York), Justine Menard (Barcelona), Luna Schulze (Copenhagen), Nicholas Shurey (Copenhagen), and Palsgaard kunstauktioner (Brøndby).

Objects on display are often mistaken for objects of frivolity. In truth, the desire to display an object in one’s home does not negate its function. Rather, it stands to reason that its function works in tandem with its decorative appeal. And aren’t we, after all, much more likely to impart use and meaning on an object that lives out in the open?

The French Embassy in Denmark is located in the Thott Palace, a remarkable 17th century historical building on Kongens Nytorv, in the heart of Copenhagen. The palace has housed the embassy for a century, and has since its origins been a symbol of the strong ties between France and Denmark. All year round, the Embassy opens its doors to the public on the occasion of various cultural events and has showcased French designers as part of 3daysofdesign every year since the festival began. Institut français is the French cultural center in Denmark, and also functions as the French Embassy's cultural department. The institute's mission is to promote French culture, language and research to the Danish public.

Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years. This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.

The Residence is a curated design exhibition taking place during 3daysofdesign in a magnificent apartment in the heart of Copenhagen. The Residence presents an exclusive selection of international brands within a living, atmospheric setting, where spaces are composed as a blend of real–life habitation and art installation. Bernh. Pedersen & Søn is a Danish furniture maker established in 1902, representing four generations of family–owned production and expert cabinetmaking. Based in Denmark, the company is renowned for its dedication to high–quality craftsmanship and sustainable production. The brand specialises in timeless furniture, with a primary focus on sideboards and pieces featuring classic tambour doors. These iconic designs are rooted in the golden age of Danish modernism, specifically the 1950s and 1960s. Today, the fourth generation continues to develop and produce furniture from the family workshop, ensuring that every piece meets the highest standards of durability and style for a global market.

Reevein Studios is a Danish high–end design company dedicated to crafting collectible floral and botanical objects that last a lifetime. Originating as a brand specialising in sculptures and installations for exhibitions, inspired by the profound link between humans and nature, Reevein Studios has today evolved into a design brand, creating exquisite collectible handcrafted faux flowers and surrealistic botanical design objects. Reevein Studios envisions botanical design as a deliberate choice, not attempting to mimic nature but rather standing as a unique artistic expression. Where attachment begins. "moifani" is a furniture brand launched in 2021 by SHIKI, an Okawa-based manufacturer in Japan. Design by SATEREO, the Portugal-based studio of Japanese designer Keita Sato. Its distinctive forms emerge as flowing curves that draw out the tactile warmth of solid wood and invite a lasting relationship between people and furniture. In moifani’s work, form is never arbitrary; it grows from the quiet dialogue between people, material, and everyday life. The "pombo collection", a series of dining chairs and tables, marks the brand’s latest release.

Shaped by a growing exploration of space, craft, and hospitality, La Cabra continues to explore how coffee is experienced. Coffee remains the foundation, while the work around it has expanded into bakery, architecture, and spatial design. Each space is developed in close collaboration with architects, artists, and local teams, allowing materials, atmosphere, and context to shape the outcome. From its origins in Aarhus to an expanding presence in cities such as Copenhagen, New York, Madrid, Seoul, and Mexico City, La Cabra continues to evolve through new cultural settings.
