Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years. This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.

Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Sausset Leou is an architecture studio born from the affinity of its founders, grounded in a poetic, vernacular, and radical approach to spatial design. During their architectural studies at ENSA Paris Val de Seine, Kim and Rémy worked together on alternative design projects through shared studio workshops. Sausset Leou asserts a rigorous sensibility and a precise sense of poetry. Their approach combines formal rigour with narrative freedom, rejecting hierarchies between building typologies. Each project is conceived as a sensitive reinterpretation of the history of places and people. The aim is to make beauty accessible to everyone, without distinction.

For the first time, inter.agcy and 3daysofdesign present GROUPED—a new curated showroom concept and exhibition in the latest Design District, Islands Brygge. Working with varying intentions and practices, this selected group of designers are united through their keen attention to detail, rigorous design processes, and a shared interest in materiality. GROUPED takes place in a vibrant courtyard with a rich, industrial history. KLASSIK has specialised in original Scandinavian furniture, lighting, ceramics and art since 1991. From its two-storey showroom in central Copenhagen, KLASSIK presents a carefully curated selection of 20th-century design, supported by a large warehouse and a full online collection. With in-house upholstery and cabinetmaking workshops, KLASSIK restores and adapts both its own pieces and clients’ furniture with expert care. The company ships worldwide and works with private homes as well as larger interior projects. Its collection combines rare vintage pieces with an in-house production of relaunched classics, rooted in craftsmanship, material knowledge and design history.

Only Natural is a global movement promoting the use of natural materials in contemporary design. It champions fibres such as wool, hemp, leather and wood as renewable, durable alternatives to synthetic materials. At its core is the Only Natural International Student Design Competition, which invites emerging designers to explore the creative potential of nature–based materials across fashion, furniture and interiors. Through exhibitions, talks and partnerships with natural fibre associations and design institutions, Only Natural connects students, designers and material experts—encouraging thoughtful design, material literacy and a renewed appreciation for natural resources.

FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, showcasing exclusive design brands and their novelties in an inspiring and relevant way. The Odd Fellow Palace will once again provide the setting for the joint exhibition of FRAMING. All three floors of the impressive rococo building from the mid–1700, including the two wings, will offer space indoor as well as outdoor to national and international brands alike. There will also be a solo exhibition at the Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv 5, just a stone's throw away from the main exhibition in Bredgade. This year marks the sixth edition of FRAMING with more than 40 brands exhibiting.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2019, CHICHOIMAO is a woodworking studio co–founded by one human and two cats. Its name, 自在貓，Cantonese for a “cat at ease,” reflects a philosophy of in the moment. Although the Year of Singularity nears, the studio still believes human touch and emotional memories still count, preserved through analogue creations rather than digital ones. Every work is handcrafted with joinery techniques to honour minimalist forms and the tactile warmth of timber. These pieces bring harmony to modern homes, helping people slow down and find beauty in the lasting, soulful moments of the everyday.
