Every 15 minutes you can board the DesignHouse Cph boat from Nyhavn directly to EST.18 venue. This event spotlights new items from their brands' latest collections that marry time–honoured craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, underlining the brands' commitment to sustainability, tradition and functional artistry.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). The Sound of Material will explore ideas centred on craftsmanship, techniques and processes. The group exhibition will be focusing on both traditional handwork and innovative practices, the works presented invite and encourage us to engage with them. With this, the exhibition asks us to think about the transformative qualities of the materials present, the intricacy or simplicity of the techniques on display, and to appreciate of the power of the objects present in our lives. Bringing together a dynamic group of designers and makers who work with ceramics, textiles, lighting, furniture, glasswork, paper and more, the exhibition will be curated by Natalia Sánchez.

Focusing on functional design and high quality materials, Gejst takes a normal product, looks at the need to be fulfilled, then strips it down to come up with something thrilling. Fucina Frammenti is a sustainable brand with an online shop focused on contemporary designs that prioritise material analysis and production processes. The brand aims to find new uses for Noble Waste—processed or semi–finished results—derived from the production cycles of other companies. This waste is repurposed through thoughtful design, creating new products with minimal energy expenditure while adhering to principles of disassemblability and monomateriality. This formula, called Noble Waste Mix, embodies a circular production-consumption-reuse model. Fucina Frammenti continually refines its practices through research, experimentation, and exploration of new materials, resulting in a constantly evolving product catalog.
