Every 15 minutes you can board the DesignHouse Cph boat from Nyhavn directly to EST.18 venue. This event spotlights new items from their brands' latest collections that marry time–honoured craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, underlining the brands' commitment to sustainability, tradition and functional artistry.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, House of Finn Juhl collaborates with Edition Copenhagen, one of the leading lithographic workshops in the world. The collaboration is rooted in a workshop theme, based on a shared respect for traditional craftsmanship and the preservation of specialised skills. As the custodian of Finn Juhl’s legacy, House of Finn Juhl works to maintain and communicate the principles that defined his approach: a close relationship between design, making, and material understanding. For 3daysofdesign, Chylak presents a series of site–specific works in bobbin lace, developed for the Copenhagen flagship store Baum und Pferdgarten. Rooted in a shared cultural narrative between Copenhagen and Warsaw, the works draw on the story of Bertel Thorvaldsen’s monument to Józef Poniatowski and its journey across time and place. At the centre of the exhibition is the horse motif, reinterpreted through delicate lace into a light, almost transparent structure bridging history, craftsmanship, and contemporary fashion. Installed in dialogue with the space, the works form a subtle “lace entrance,” creating a layered, immersive environment.

From the beginning, the goal of the company has been to challenge traditional approaches to design to make a collection full of bold and playful products. Focusing on functional design and high quality materials, Gejst takes a normal product, looks at the need to be fulfilled, then strips it down to come up with something thrilling.
