Nosou is a contemporary Japanese design brand rooted in natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Guided by the theme 'Time Makes Beauty,' they embrace natural aging in their products, as a form of beauty that deepens over time. Their first collection features lighting crafted from bamboo sourced in Kyoto. Inspired by Wabi–Sabi, each handcrafted piece develops its own character through years of use, becoming a unique object to be cherished. Light is adjusted by moving the fixture itself, offering a tactile and intuitive experience.
Nosou will present an exhibition in the heart of Copenhagen during 3daysofdesign 2026, featuring the premiere of its lighting collection alongside a water–based installation. Through shadows, reflections, and the gentle movement of light, Nosou reveals the quiet beauty of natural materials. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of bringing nature into interior spaces, the exhibition invites visitors to experience a refined aesthetic shaped by light and darkness. Notice the sounds and scents as you move through the space, where nature and design meet.
