Nosou is a contemporary Japanese design brand rooted in natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Guided by the theme ‘Time Makes Beauty,’ they embrace natural aging in their products, as a form of beauty that deepens over time. Their first collection features lighting crafted from bamboo sourced in Kyoto. Inspired by Wa–bi–Sabi, each handcrafted piece develops its own character through years of use, becoming a unique object to be cherished. Light is adjusted by moving the fixture itself, offering a tactile and intuitive experience.
Nosou will hold an exhibition in the heart of Copenhagen. The presentation will feature the world premiere of Nosou’s lighting products at 3daysofdesign 2026, together with a water–based installation. Inspired by the Japanese tradition of bringing nature into gardens and interiors, Nosou expresses the beauty of natural materials through shadows, reflections, and subtle movements created by light. You are invited to experience Japanese aesthetics throughout the space, engaging the senses of light, sound, scent, and touch.
