Bretz

Bretz combines two seemingly opposing yet fundamental desires in life: on one hand, its creations take you on fantastic journeys filled with adventure and freedom; on the other hand, they envelop you, providing a sense of safety and security. This vision comes to life in the brand’s workshop, where Bretz boldly pushes forward with a pioneering spirit, while also drawing on over a century of German upholstery tradition. Born from a passion for the unexpected and refined by sophisticated production techniques, Bretz creates exceptional modular and multifunctional designs. Only when a sofa, bed, armchair, or accessory has been perfected down to the finest detail will it meet the brand’s exacting standards.

With its colorful maximalism and joyful design, Bretz brings a vibrant splash of boldness to 3daysofdesign. Rooted in pure craftsmanship, finest materials, and the highest quality, Bretz opens its showroom in the heart of CPH to celebrate a profession of love for the untamed: a belief in beauty that dares to go beyond conventions, in the magic of derring-do, and a full-throated YES to one-of-a-kindness in an age of deliberate uniformity.

NORDICMODERN presents the woven rugs of Danish textile artist Vibeke Klint (1927–2019), reissued in collaboration with her family.
Klint approached textiles as part of the interior - working with proportion, rhythm and colour to create calm foundations rather than décor. Her rugs were made to be lived with and walked on, and to age naturally over time. All rugs are handwoven using her original designs and techniques, continuing a Danish modern textile tradition in a contemporary context. During 3daysofdesign the collection is shown in a spatial setting where material and colour can be experienced up close. Vibeke Klint's rugs can modernise a traditional room and add character and balance to a minimalist interior.

ALPI is a leading manufacturer of decorative surfaces made of reconstituted wood. Being the first to industrialise this process, ALPIlignum veneer is made of real wood by taking apart and putting back together a tree–trunk. This creates a material that is not printed, and so designable as to offer limitless aesthetic effects. ALPI represents an undisputed gold standard in wood technology. The ALPIlignum Collection is FSC® 100% certified (FSC–C004666), thanks to full control of the supply chain.
Profound synergy between ALPI and the design world has given rise to long–standing collaborations with design talents. Piero Lissoni has held the role of art director since 2015. ALPI products are distributed in more than 60 countries.

With deep respect for design and acknowledging the urgent need for a circular transformation, FÓLK creates objects and furniture that enable the circularity of materials. Some of FÓLKs circular designs—such as The Airbag and The Lava Vase—have already become modern design icons, expressing how one’s waste can become another’s treasure. FÓLK explores new circular systems and develops designs from materials that are discarded, disregarded or leftover and through that journey aspires to facilitate people and companies to create more responsible interior solutions.

Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
