Kilzi means many things to its founder: it is his family name, weird in his context and a symbol of other lands, Kilzi is the family context and a story of immigration and personal growth, it also means ancient history and heritage, movement, renewal, childhood. In Jorge S Kilzi's eyes, his creations are an expression of who he is and of where his many experiences have taken him. Kilzi's work is honest and seeks to create emotional value. Some items find their worth in practicality, technology, comfort or decorations: Kilzi doesn't refuse any of the previous but seeks value in human connection through objects. This year Kilzi will host one event and be part of two collaborative shows.

Lasting change begins at the smallest scale. No detail is too little, no problem too small, no emotion trivial and no person irrelevant. In a time defined by environmental and social challenges, design becomes a tool for care, attention, and responsibility, where every step matters and every effort counts. At Lund University School of Industrial Design, education is grounded in curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world engagement. Students question, test, and refine, engaging with people and contexts, bringing together diverse perspectives. The school fosters a new generation of designers who create with intent and awareness. Their work reflects a shift from producing more to creating meaningful impact. Because Every Thing Matters.

It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Their guiding principle becomes the business philosophy: Immer besser. Miele appliances, whether they are used for laundry care, vacuuming or in the kitchen, are subjected to the strictest stress and endurance tests before they are launched on the market. Miele design represents innovation, value and timeless elegance. It shapes the relationship between the person and the product, meets expectations, facilitates handling and creates trust.

SF–SO is an industrial design studio operating between San Francisco and Seoul, founded in 2019 by Jaehoon Jung and Hoyoung Joo. The studio focuses on simplifying the relationship between users, objects, and their environment rather than creating attention–seeking forms. Through the refinement of structure, manufacturing logic, and function, SF–SO reduces visual and physical complexity, allowing objects to exist quietly within everyday environments. This approach extends into its furniture brand SFSO–MFG®, where the studio translates its philosophy into tangible products meant to be understood through use and physical experience.
