Høstbo is a Copenhagen–based gallery dedicated to contemporary design at the intersection of objects, space, and lived experience. Conceived as more than a showroom, it operates as a platform for spatial exploration, where design is understood in relation to architecture, context, and use. Founded by Marie–Louise Høstbo, the gallery reflects more than three decades of experience across design and spatial practice. Her curatorial approach is grounded in clarity, material intelligence, and relevance, selecting objects not only for their individual qualities, but for their role in a larger spatial narrative. Rooted in Danish design principles, functionality, durability, and beauty, Høstbo presents works that contribute to shaping the future.
During 3daysofdesign 2026, Høstbo presents works by significant designers, curated with an ambition to engage holistically with space, material, and light. Rather than existing as isolated objects, the pieces are positioned to shape an environment, where relationships emerge between form, surface, and movement. Daylight plays a central role, shifting throughout the day and subtly activating the works. Shadows, reflections, and textures become part of the experience, allowing the exhibition to unfold over time. Through this approach, the exhibition invites a slower encounter, where design is not only seen, but sensed—as part of a spatial composition that responds to its surroundings and creates atmospheric continuity.
