SAIKAIHOP, by Saikai Europe, traces its origins to the Japanese town of Hasami, where the history of porcelain production and innovation spans more than 400 years. As a subsidiary of ceramics trading company Saikai Toki, Saikai Europe’s operations centre on a lineup of original brands merging contemporary design with Hasami’s manufacturing expertise. In addition to its in–house collections, Saikai Europe provides distribution services in the European market, working closely with Japanese brands and makers dedicated to quality, craftsmanship and the creation of timeless wares. Driven to enhance quality of life through everyday items, Saikai Europe is committed to building brands, products and partnerships of an enduring nature.

With deep respect for design and acknowledging the urgent need for a circular transformation, FÓLK creates objects and furniture that enable the circularity of materials. Some of FÓLKs circular designs—such as The Airbag and The Lava Vase—have already become modern design icons, expressing how one’s waste can become another’s treasure. FÓLK explores new circular systems and develops designs from materials that are discarded, disregarded or leftover and through that journey aspires to facilitate people and companies to create more responsible interior solutions.

Since then, the logo with the heart in the middle has been ester & erik’s trademark – an icon reflecting the couple’s fondness for each other, and in particular for candles, craftsmanship and the quality behind their vision. Modern Metier is a French design platform with a curated selection of contemporary brands and progressive designers. Working with talents from Paris to Stockholm, the platform represents a select roster of European designers, each distinguished by a singular perspective and original point of view. The name “métier,” drawn from the French word for craft, reflects the studio’s commitment to quality and enduring craftsmanship. In 2024, Modern Metier introduced its first collection of furniture and lighting named 'Solstice' in collaboration with French designer Léa Zeroil. Each piece is developed in close dialogue with the designer and local artisans specialising in woodwork, ceramics, upholstery and metalwork.

Rosti is a Danish brand, founded in 1944 by Rolf Fahrenholz and Stig Jørgensen, and known for its functional kitchen utensils, now sold worldwide. The brand’s best–known classic is undoubtedly the Margrethe bowl. This distinctive bowl was of Acton Bjørn and Sigvard Bernadotte and has been produced since the early 1950s. In 1954, it was named after Queen Margrethe II. It is all about making everyday life easier. Form and function go hand in hand in a simple, timeless expression, created by talented Danish designers across generations. Quality is a cornerstone of Rosti’s range. Rosti brings energy, joy and Danish design into the kitchen—year after year.

Copenhagen based Icelandic designer Dögg Guðmundsdóttir creates nature inspired products with emotional appeal and a distinctive touch of Nordic originality. Many of her designs are based on foundational structures or pieces of art, while others form part of a collection. For this exhibition, nature is not merely an inspiration but an integral part of the essence of the works and of the installation, created in collaboration with Dýpi—an ocean paint made from calcareous algae harvested in Iceland. Dýpi was nominated for the Icelandic Design Awards 2025 for its product that is exceptionally breathable, environmentally friendly, plastic–free, and an innovative use of abundant natural materials.
