SAIKAIHOP, by Saikai Europe, traces its origins to the Japanese town of Hasami, where the history of porcelain production and innovation spans more than 400 years. As a subsidiary of ceramics trading company Saikai Toki, Saikai Europe’s operations centre on a lineup of original brands merging contemporary design with Hasami’s manufacturing expertise. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy.
