SAIKAIHOP, by Saikai Europe, traces its origins to the Japanese town of Hasami, where the history of porcelain production and innovation spans more than 400 years. As a subsidiary of ceramics trading company Saikai Toki, Saikai Europe’s operations centre on a lineup of original brands merging contemporary design with Hasami’s manufacturing expertise. In addition to its in–house collections, Saikai Europe provides distribution services in the European market, working closely with Japanese brands and makers dedicated to quality, craftsmanship and the creation of timeless wares. Driven to enhance quality of life through everyday items, Saikai Europe is committed to building brands, products and partnerships of an enduring nature.

Since its foundation in 1911, the family–owned company Fredericia has proudly built a strong tradition of beautiful craftsmanship and innovative design, developed in close collaboration with a circle of internationally recognised names. Legendary designers such as Børge Mogensen, Hans J. Wegner, Mogens Koch and Nanna Ditzel, as well as contemporary figures like Barber Osgerby, Jasper Morrison, Cecilie Manz, and Maria Bruun, all play a role in shaping Fredericia into the design and craftsmanship institution it is today. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt creates exclusive bespoke lighting pieces. Working with plexiglass and brass, she develops lamps shaped by a close dialogue between colour, transparency, and form. Layered hues and shifting light create depth and visual presence, while patinated brass adds a warmer, tactile tone. Each lamp is a sculptural object that brings a composed architectural presence to a space. She also creates larger installations by grouping multiple lamps. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt collaborates with Nilufar Gallery in Milan and designs for Gubi.

JAPAN FORM is a Stockholm–based curatorial platform founded in 2024 by interior and furniture designer Hironori Tsukue and Reiko Tsukue. The platform introduces contemporary Japanese craftsmanship to the European market, focusing on material precision and functional clarity. JAPAN FORM is the exclusive European representative of porcelain lighting artist Hirotaka Tobimatsu. Born in Saga, Japan, he creates sculptural porcelain lighting that reinterprets early 20th–century opal glass forms. Each piece is hand–cast and carefully finished, offering soft light and architectural presence.
