SAIKAIHOP, by Saikai Europe, traces its origins to the Japanese town of Hasami, where the history of porcelain production and innovation spans more than 400 years. As a subsidiary of ceramics trading company Saikai Toki, Saikai Europe’s operations centre on a lineup of original brands merging contemporary design with Hasami’s manufacturing expertise. In addition to its in–house collections, Saikai Europe provides distribution services in the European market, working closely with Japanese brands and makers dedicated to quality, craftsmanship and the creation of timeless wares. Driven to enhance quality of life through everyday items, Saikai Europe is committed to building brands, products and partnerships of an enduring nature.

The story of sog begins in the world of bespoke furniture in Japan, where its creators listened to countless stories—the single line drawn by an architect, the quiet wish of a user. To answer each one, the brand's artisans sculpted wood, tailored fabrics, and bent metal. The myriad forms born and then vanished in this process became what they call the “memories of design.” From this vast accumulation of memories and experience, “sog” was born: a brand that carves out the "So” (素)—the elemental form destined to become the standard of the future.

Founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti with the vision of creating and curating timeless design objects with an innovative approach and environmental awareness. Koukos de Lab is a material–driven design studio based in Lesvos, Greece, exploring sustainable design through research, experimentation, and local production. The studio develops innovative materials and objects by transforming agricultural by–products into meaningful design resources. At the core of its practice is Koukoutsi, an eco–material made from the final waste of olive oil production, primarily olive cores and pips. Designed as a sustainable alternative to conventional materials, Koukoutsi combines durability, water resistance, and a distinctive tactile quality. Suitable for objects, furniture, and surface applications, it reflects Koukos de Lab’s commitment to circular design and responsible material transformation today, locally.

There is something really nice about getting up close—to the furniture, the makers, the production process. A. Petersen creates furniture with a focus on quality, craftsmanship and respect for professional expertise. Theor products are designed, developed and produced in Denmark. Furniture from A. Petersen is crafted with the intention to renew the Danish design tradition and carry it into the 21st century. Not in a grand or rapid way—for the sake of scale or tempo—but in a measured, serious way, for the sake of current time as well as posterity, because furniture should last a lifetime, and hopefully even longer. A good piece of furniture only becomes more beautiful through time and use, as lived life leaves its mark on the materials.
