Scandinavian Design Embassy is an initiative aimed at promoting Nordic design companies internationally at Nordic Embassies around the world. It brings together key organisations including the Finnish Design Embassy, Norwegian Design Industry, the Swedish Institute and Svensk Form. Through this partnership, they strengthen the innovative and sustainable design principles that define the Nordic countries. Building on the success of the Finnish Design Embassy initiative, which has been active since 2022, this project has extended the concept to neighbouring countries for an even stronger presence around the world.

Scandinavian Design on the Move is a curated exhibition showcasing contemporary Nordic creativity through products and a featured talk. Hosted at the Residence of the Ambassador of Finland, it offers a unique and intimate setting to experience design. The exhibited works reflect Nordic ways of living, working, and interacting, highlighting current values, materials, and aesthetics. Together, they form a cohesive narrative of today’s Nordic design. The exhibition features both individual and collaborative presentations emphasizing dialogue and shared ambition among participating brands. Featured designers and brands include Mifuko, Finarte, Lapuan Kankurit, Andrea Tsang, Forming Function, Gemla, Hyfer Objects, and G.A.D. & Wroom Furniture.

For the first time, inter.agcy and 3daysofdesign present GROUPED—a new curated showroom concept and exhibition in the latest Design District, Islands Brygge. Working with varying intentions and practices, this selected group of designers are united through their keen attention to detail, rigorous design processes, and a shared interest in materiality. GROUPED takes place in a vibrant courtyard with a rich, industrial history. Hidden in a elegantly renovated space, the juxtaposition between rough exteriors and refined interiors gives way to an engaging and memorable experience.

Cumellas designs and produces contemporary handmade rugs. Based in Barcelona since 1992, its work reflects a deep understanding of craftsmanship and a distinctive approach to design. Natural materials, colour and texture are at the core of the brand’s DNA, shaping rugs that respect both the origin of the materials and the social context in which they are made, while emphasising craftsmanship. Alongside its own collections, Cumellas collaborates with artists and designers, bringing new perspectives and expanding the language of rugs into more experimental and expressive territories.

SUDBROCK Möbelhandwerk realises passion for craftsmanship, wood and precision, down to the smallest detail. Making these visible in timeless design and unique furniture. Reduced to the essence, with limitless variety and inspiring simplicity. Made in the small village Rietberg-Bokel in Germany. Theres Sudbrock and Anton Flechtner run the family business Sudbrock, which has 120 employees. Everything from regional tree trunks to furniture is produced in one place. All furniture is made to order, customised to the customer‘s specifications and desired design. Kvik’s originality comes from redefining how people live in their kitchens. Phantom Objects is a Belgian premium design brand creating collectible tabletop objects rooted in architecture, material heritage and craftsmanship. Founded by Frederik Delbart and John Ghekiere, the brand explores the relationship between form, function and time through collections of pepper mills, storage containers and other refined objects for table and interior. Working with exceptional local craftsmen, Phantom Objects creates uncompromising quality pieces in noble materials such as solid brass, natural stone and solid wood. Produced in limited quantities and designed to evolve through use, each object celebrates permanence, craftsmanship and enduring beauty in an increasingly temporary world.

ØDELAND is a material and design project that transforms overlooked waste streams into new aesthetic possibilities. Based on high–fired ceramic landfill waste such as discarded toilets and sinks, ØDELAND works to rethink value, resources, and material cycles. Using sanitary waste, granite dust from quarrying, and pharmaceutical glass, ØDELAND is developing new ceramic expressions in which waste becomes identity, form, and narrative.
