The company was founded in 1937 with a strong belief in Danish craftsmanship ever since. Durability and quality are core values in Magnus Olesen, with the mission to create high quality and sustainable design furniture. The company has its production in Durup, Denmark and a showroom in the beautiful surroundings of Marmorkirken in Copenhagen.

A Danish design brand, and concept store founded in 1953 in the heart of Copenhagen by Hagbarth Skjalm Petersen and his spouse Lisbeth Westergaard. A centre for home interior and lifestyle items designed to inspire to an aesthetic and more sustainable lifestyle. The original design philosophy of H. Skjalm P. is still: focusing on sustainable production and natural materials, notably the organic GOTS certified textiles. The H. Skjalm P. collection includes a wide range of design in brass, in stainless steel, ceramics and glass, as well as textiles in 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Ariake is a Japanese furniture brand founded by Legnatec and Hirata Chair, two manufacturers from the furniture–producing town of Morodomi in Saga Prefecture, each with over four decades of craft heritage. The brand takes its name from the Ariake Sea; “ariake” also means daybreak, marking a new chapter for its founding makers. The collection is developed under the creative direction of Gabriel Tan, in close collaboration with Morodomi's craftsmen and an international roster of designers, with the aim of creating new Japanese design icons. Each piece balances delicacy with structural precision, with careful attention to wood joinery, combining hand and machine production in equal measure.
