Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.

Garde Hvalsøe has, since 1990, created kitchens and interiors shaped by hand, material, and architectural intent. Each project begins with natural materials and the people who will live with it. Made to order, every detail is considered in relation to its purpose and surroundings. Founded in the late 1980s, Davide Groppi is an Italian lighting company recognised worldwide for original and distinctive products. Simplicity, weightlessness, lightness, emotion and creative invention define its design language. Lamps are like the letters of an alphabet used to write anagrams, words and stories of light. Davide Groppi has received prestigious international awards, including the ADI Compasso d’Oro. The company is part of Dexelance S.p.A., strengthening its presence in international markets. Davide Groppi is also a member of the Altagamma Foundation, the leading cultural and creative ecosystem promoting excellence in Made in Italy.

Sibast Furniture is a Danish family company with a proud heritage of fine furniture craftsmanship dating back to 1908. Since 2013, the fourth generation has continued the legacy, combining respectful reissues of iconic 1950s designs by Helge Sibast, Arne Vodder, and Piet Hein with new timeless pieces created with contemporary designers like Eistrup, Utzon, Frost, Solberg, Henrik Hvid Hansen, Anna & Ditlev Sibast. Recently, Sibast Furniture expanded with the acquisition of Bent Hansen, adding sculptural comfort and upholstery expertise, including signature designs like the Primum chair. The collection unites heritage, craftsmanship, and modern design for homes, hotels, and global projects, built to be passed on to future generations.

David Valner has a background in glass design, sculpture, fine arts, and interactive media. David has grown up in a glassmaker family, in the midst of a swarm of traditional artisans–glass lovers, feeling and watching the physical and metaphorical fire of creation. At the centre of his current approach to glass stands respect for the material as an originally free and fluid mass. Endlessly inspired by nature, he creates collections of objects in which each item is an original and defects are embraced as deeply meaningful and inspirational testimonies to artisan glass making as opposed to mass production.
