Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. Lokal is a Helsinki–based concept gallery bringing forth local artwork and collectible design. Inspired by a blend of artistic expression and craftsmanship, Lokal embraces sustainability and small–scale production. Fostering a supportive creative community rooted in heritage and a close relationship to nature is at the core of their activity. Lokal’s curated exhibitions can be viewed both at their homelike gallery space in Helsinki, as well as online. During 3daysofdesign, Lokal collaborates with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark to present an exhibition featuring a group of Finnish artists and makers working at the intersection of fine art and functionality.

A–POC, the acronym of 'A Piece Of Cloth', is the name of the integrated design and manufacturing system first introduced in Paris by Issey Miyake in 1998. A–POC revolutionised the process of clothes–making with its innovative concept of a streamlined, all–in–one operation, in which all the parts of the clothing are pre–woven into a single piece of cloth. Launched in 2021, A–POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE aims to realise the infinite potential of the A–POC system with society in mind—hence the name 'ABLE'. The brand’s designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae and his team of engineers value the dialogue between creator and wearer, as they engage with different professions and industries to further explore new possibilities in design and making.

United by a focus on material awareness, production quality, and design integrity, the Objects of Desire exhibition presents contemporary practices developed through considered processes and skilled execution. This exhibition establishes a platform which convenes a selected group of international designers and makers working beyond mass production. Designers explore form, technique, and detail through processes informed by material properties and production methods. The exhibited objects are the result of in-depth material research, technical expertise, and time–intensive development.

It takes place in two prime locations in the heart of the festival: THE EMBASSY ATELIER at the Embassy of Switzerland, Store Kongensgade 128, and THE SWISS COFFEE ATELIER at Original Coffee, Store Kongensgade 124, each offering a distinct experience that highlights Swiss creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence.
