Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Their focus lies on the interiors that surround us—how they are built, how they function, and how people interact within public spaces. Questions about changing social behaviours and evolving demands continually inspire new ways of thinking. To meet contemporary needs and desires, Blå Station believes in maintaining an open and innovative mindset, guided by childlike curiosity and a firm rejection of shortcuts and apathy. Moroso is an independent, family–run managerial company founded in 1952 and built around a corporate model that, in the encounter between Art and Industry, gives shape to designers’ ideas by balancing creative vision, industrial processes and craftsmanship, handling everything from a single bespoke design to mass production. All made in Italy. Moroso has repeatedly taken the lead in the past several decades to create collections of home furnishings that have been lauded for their artistic merits and excellence in construction. Their roster of designers includes Ron Arad, Patricia Urquiola, Ross Lovegrove, Tokujin Yoshioka, Doshi & Levien, Tord Boontje and Nendo among others.
