Portugal’s participation at 3daysofdesign under the Made in Portugal Naturally brand—presents Momentum, a curatorial concept exploring the dialogue between craftsmanship, cultural memory and contemporary design. Shaped by a deep connection to the Atlantic and the influence of the oceans, it reflects a culture rooted in tradition, innovation and material awareness. Through cork, textiles, wood, ceramics and metal, Portuguese design expresses continuity and transformation. Momentum highlights the ability to turn heritage into contemporary objects, positioning Portugal as a design ecosystem where craftsmanship, industry and innovation evolve together.

Vibia exists to create beautiful atmospheres, utilizing lighting design to evoke meaningful responses that positively impact the human experience and enhance our sense of wellbeing. This purpose is a shared goal for all professional communities. Vibia aims to pioneer a new vision for lighting design by focusing on people's emotions, elevating interior design as a fundamental discipline for the cultivation of wellbeing, and providing a product portfolio with a unique blend of lighting effects. The company proposes a new approach to designing emotional atmospheres based on the creation of specific scenes according to the use of space over time and in parallel with control system design.

Kateha is a Swedish family–owned company designing and creating rugs. At Kateha, a rug is the beginning of a room. A quiet foundation that holds space together, anchoring stories to the floor. With over 270 years of textile heritage, the family has worked with textiles. Seven generations of hands and hearts, weaving beauty into everyday life. That legacy lives on in every Kateha rug. Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Iteration Collective hope to inspire future generations of designers and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design and sustainability.
