Michael Anastassiades is a Cypriot-born, London-based designer whose practice encompasses lighting, furniture, objects and spatial design. His practice contemplates both industrial production and artisan techniques. In doing so, it expands into a vivid, nuanced balance between control and intuition. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Anastassiades has conceived lights, furniture and objects characterised by a poetic yet rigorous interpretation of technology, materials and functions. Michael Anastassiades’ lighting collection is distributed in Scandinavia by Anker and co.

Design / Dialogue by Ark Journal is a new exhibition concept leading the way for the future of design, craftsmanship, and creative collaborations. For the first time during 3daysofdesign, Ark Journal brings together more than 20 international design brands and artists from all corners of the world. Curated by the team behind Ark Journal, the focus of this exhibition is to promote high-quality design and to show new products in an inspiring and relevant way.

Jianze, an original home design brand founded in 2019, firmly believes that the power of design can inspire self-expression, break through old standards and restrictions with the attitude of an explorer, and redefine the “principles of space".

By combining diversified design forces at home and abroad, Jianze is empowered to provide inclusive and environmentally friendly home design for the younger generation to make a stress-free and self-expressive home life possible.

At Manu, every product has a soul, a vibe, and a personality. The philosophy guiding Manu is that by developing emotional relationships with objects, one will start treating them with the respect, care, and longevity the world needs. That's why Manu's products are not bought or sold - they're adopted.

Manu’s first collection explores how waste materials from lemon peels, PET bottles, and cornstarch can be given new life. Through the technology of 3D-printing, one-time-use materials are turned into a lifelong product and companion through a process that flips the unwanted into the wanted.

The core of DAGGRY is function and form, elegantly and simply combined. The aesthetic is modern and minimal, capable of adapting and adjusting to environments and the practicalities of day-to-day life. Simplicity and ambition to change the afterlife of our already produced textile, provided life to the first design project.

What began with a conversation across the dining table, accelerated two families into the creative process that now inspires a company dedicated to thoughtful and personal design and an exploration of natural materials, rooted in home and imagination.

DAGGRY Bedding and the Forest Eye lighting collection will be launched during 3daysofdesign 2024.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia and Northern Europe.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2024, over 400 brands exhibited at the festival, where over 45.000 visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, product launches, networking, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly in showrooms and galleries during June, Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 18 — 20 June 2025.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge.

Please check the programme, which is updated on an ongoing basis, at 3daysofdesign.dk
