Founded in 1962 as a specialist in incandescent bulb production, ILKW by Ilkwang Lighting has built its lighting fixtures on decades of accumulated technology, experience, and craftsmanship. The brand’s latest lighting series is inspired by the architecture, design, and art of the 1960s—the era in which Ilkwang Lighting was founded.
The joint exhibition , composed of three Korean brands, rareraw, ILKW and flat point, offers a multifaceted exploration of the attitudes and sensibilities embedded in Korean design. Through a scenography inspired by the urban landscape of Seoul, where design and technology seamlessly intersect, the exhibition presents a new perspective that blends contemporary Korean imagery with a sense of classical sentiment. Through the painting work of Jieun Lee, a Seoul–based painter, the exhibition presents scenes of daily life, offering a poetic link to Korean culture.
