Frostline is designed and handcrafted in Denmark, offering a range of uncompromising, frost–free outdoor showers and taps. Each product is meticulously crafted to elevate outdoor spaces—even when not in use. Inspired by the principle of “form follows function,” founder Roland Thorsen combines a sculptural design language with an uncompromising approach to craftsmanship. Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years. This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.
