Flokk & Fjell
Flokk & Fjell is a Norwegian design brand operating at the intersection of nature, craftsmanship, and architecture. Using locally sourced wool from traditional sheep breeds and natural dyes, the company creates handcrafted acoustic panels that combine technical performance with a refined, tactile expression. Rooted in a biophilic philosophy, the products enhance soundscapes while supporting calm, human–centered interiors. Founded by architect Annemieke Koopmans, Flokk & Fjell positions acoustics as an integral part of interior design. All production takes place in Norway, ensuring quality, transparency, and a low–impact process aligned with the demand for sustainable, design–led materials.
Flokk & Fjell presents a curated selection of its acoustic panel collections alongside a bespoke custom design, highlighting the brand’s approach to material–driven interiors. The exhibition offers insight into the full process, from raw natural fibres to finished architectural elements, with materials on display to illustrate origin, treatment, and craftsmanship. Through this, the brand communicates its commitment to transparency, tactility, and the integration of acoustic performance within a refined, nature–based design language.
