Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Belloch (Barcelona, Spain). It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise. From spectacle to substance: if objects can be read, it’s because they have something to say. These are slow–cooked products, crafted to last, designed to be passed down through generations.

RS Barcelona achieves this by highlighting the power of play, considering it an attitude and an expression of optimism. The brand invites individuals to play without complexes or restrictions, daring to engage in scenarios where it was not traditionally appropriate, reinterpreting the conventional to make it iconic. AOT is a small family–run design company based in Copenhagen. Driven by challenging materials, they aim to liberate these materials from what is expected of them. Inventing new hand–made processes is a core element of their practice where doing things the conventionally 'wrong' way, has proved to be ideal for creating things that are both original and classic. Things that are easy to read yet easy on the eye! AOT is both a design studio and a production house and everything they produce is made in Denmark — either in–house or with carefully sourced producers. This is a key part of AOT, as it enables their insistence and audacity to create things that are hand-made in Denmark and still affordable.
