Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer with a strong anchor in both the public and domestic domain. Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past 80 years. These are to create beautiful furniture for the future, which build on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions, designed by forward–looking designers who share in the timeless ideals of architecture. Swedese was founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Bertil Sjöqvist, under the company name ESE Möbler. The headquarters are located at Vaggeryd, in Sweden, together with one of the factories. The second factory is located in Äng, a small village outside Nässjö, Sweden.

The name EDITORA means "editor."​ Based in Japan—a nation far from where the great masters of design once lived—they have always viewed their work through a unique lens. EDITORA's foundation lies in the firm MAKE AND SEE, which has designed and manufactured bespoke furniture for Japan’s finest hotels and restaurants for over ten years. Throughout this journey, their work has been rooted in a profound, unwavering respect for the masters. A brand that distills the experience, philosophy, and cultivated vision over years of craftsmanship. Each piece is realised by Japan’s leading artisans—it is its definitive response to the legacy of these greats.
