A partnership born out of a shared dream of a better tomorrow

For this year's festival, 3daysofdesign has joined forces with a pioneer in design, comfort, and charging mobility.

We are excited to announce that Audi is the Official Mobility Partner of this year's 3daysofdesign!

This partnership is a perfect match, as this year's 3daysofdesign celebrates the dreamscape, where creativity and the human ability to create and improve through design are born. For Audi, the dream is to enable innovation to drive progress with the courage to change the world.

“This partnership is a natural fit, as both Audi, 3daysofdesign, and the exhibitors of the festival share a passion for distinctive aesthetics, exclusive materials, and progressive shapes—key elements of Audi's design philosophy. Together, we emphasize innovation, sustainability, and a shared appreciation for design,” says Jacob Thiesen, Head of Marketing at Audi Danmark.

3daysofdesign has a strong focus on the design and materials of tomorrow, and how design can help build a better future. This focus is shared by Audi, which operates by the core principle of “A better tomorrow” that guides all their operations.

“We are committed to incorporating eco-friendly practices across our business, ensuring that sustainable operations are integral to every decision and product we develop. Recognizing electric mobility as a crucial societal need, we collaborate with various stakeholders to offer tailored products and services, continually expanding our range of electric vehicles,” Jacob Thiesen tells us.

The range of electric vehicles that Audi represents is exactly what you can experience during 3daysofdesign.

“Looking ahead, Audi is set to broaden its portfolio with several new electric vehicles. By the end of 2024, we will introduce the new Audi A6 e-tron. Recently, we unveiled the latest addition to our electric lineup, the Audi Q6 e-tron, which will hit the streets of Denmark in August. Our entire current electric fleet will grace the streets during 3daysofdesign, offering a firsthand experience of Audi’s progressive design.”

Keep an eye out for Audi's electric fleet during the festival days!

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.
