Since 1935, Anglepoise has been a pioneer in lighting design, known for crafting innovative, spring–balanced lamps that combine form with flawless function. The design was invented by British engineer George Carwardine, and the brand began with the invention of a task lamp that moved like the human arm—a breakthrough that forever changed how people interact with light.
