Uppercut is an Antwerp based gallery with a focus on art furniture and design, presenting contemporary art and design. Founded and directed by Scott Lippens, the gallery’s programming is rooted in a good understanding of design history and exhibits functional art of the highest caliber. The gallery is committed to support emerging and leading international artists and designers who, through their craft, introduce fresh ideas to visual culture and challenge the status quo.

Related Exhibitions
The Sound of Material will explore ideas centred on craftsmanship, techniques and processes. The group exhibition will be focusing on both traditional handwork and innovative practices, the works presented invite and encourage us to engage with them. With this, the exhibition asks us to think about the transformative qualities of the materials present, the intricacy or simplicity of the techniques on display, and to appreciate of the power of the objects present in our lives. Bringing together a dynamic group of designers and makers who work with ceramics, textiles, lighting, furniture, glasswork, paper and more, the exhibition will be curated by Natalia Sánchez.

Patch Design is an eco–conscious artisan studio that blends sustainability with craftsmanship and advanced manufacturing. Drawing inspiration from the centuries–old tradition of repairing fishing nets, Patch Design creates artistic, collectible art pieces and furniture that honours the resilience of coastal communities. The plastic used is sourced from ocean waste. The studio's work merges cutting–edge technology with the artistry of traditional coastal handicrafts to produce unique pieces that address both the environmental challenges of ocean plastic waste and the preservation of cultural values. Through each creation, Patch Design aims to inspire a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability, and the protection of our oceans.

Blå Station is a family business located in what used to be a sewing factory in Åhus—on the southeast coast of Sweden, where the ocean is just as restless as they are. Their focus is on on the interiors that surround us—how they are built and how they work. “How do we interact in the public space? Has today's society added new demands? Has our way of socialising changed?” To meet today's demands and desires, Blå Station believes it is necessary to have an open and innovative mind, a child's curiosity as well as a heart that rejects shortcuts and apathy. EMFIMA Collection is a Nordic agency company started in September 2016 and today represent the known Italian manufacturers Luceplan, Pedrali, Contardi Lighting and Fantoni. All manufacturers are already on the Nordic markets, but now also represented in Denmark through the EMFIMA Collection. In addition, EMFIMA Collection has entered into a distributor agreement with the Swedish company BOOM Interiør, on the Danish market. Public Crafts focuses on preserving and reintroducing traditional Japanese materials, which are fading from modern life, through design and spatial composition. The team collaborates with skilled craftsmen in Japan to create handmade products. Additionally, Public Crafts partners with Pure Fabrications, a small atelier based in Copenhagen that creates textiles and clothing entirely by hand in collaboration with its local community. Sharing a common vision, Public Crafts supports Pure Fabrications' efforts to expand the craft community across generations and continents.
