TOWER x WEDNESDAY

The work of the collaborative artist and design practice, TOWERXWEDNESDAY, balances narrative and sculptural storytelling combined with a fascination of materials, their properties and attributes. The founders Charlotte Budtz, Sofie Trier Mørk and Lise Bjerre Schmidt, all trained architects, started collaborating in 2020. Their work and take on a playful but exclusive approach. Developing all their work in physical models, which impact greatly on the result, embedding attributes of the materials in choice, in the composition of the works. Today, they work from their studio and gallery at Sølvgade in Copenhagen - A laboratory for experiments and development, aiming to challenge conventions and to pull their designs along unexpected paths.
