The Residence

The Residence is a curated design exhibition taking place during 3daysofdesign in a magnificent apartment in the heart of Copenhagen. The Residence presents an exclusive selection of international brands within a living, atmospheric setting, where spaces are composed as a blend of real–life habitation and art installation. The focus is on context, atmosphere, and meaningful encounters between design, art, and people.

Vintola Studio, founded in Warsaw in 2018 by designer Ola Szewczul, is a Polish design brand focused on collectible furniture and contemporary functional design that merge vintage sensitivity with refined craftsmanship. The studio creates original furniture collections designed by Szewczul alongside carefully curated and restored vintage pieces, combining sculptural form, tactile materials and balanced proportions with everyday usability. Originally conceived as a digital-first project to rethink how design is experienced and accessed, DEORON has since expanded into the physical realm. BIRDMIND is a Spanish company developing circular materials for architecture and interior design. Based in Galicia, it transforms agricultural waste into high–performance, sustainable solutions through applied research and industrial processes. Its flagship product, Rice Tab, is a technical board made from rice husks, offering durability, versatility and key properties such as fire resistance, water repellency, anti–fungal performance and being formaldehyde–free. Produced with renewable energy, zero water footprint and a closed–loop system, BIRDMIND materials are designed for real applications in interiors, furniture, retail and contract, demonstrating that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.

A Danish design brand, and concept store founded in 1953 in the heart of Copenhagen by Hagbarth Skjalm Petersen and his spouse Lisbeth Westergaard. A centre for home interior and lifestyle items designed to inspire to an aesthetic and more sustainable lifestyle. The original design philosophy of H. Skjalm P. is still: focusing on sustainable production and natural materials, notably the organic GOTS certified textiles. The H. Skjalm P. collection includes a wide range of design in brass, in stainless steel, ceramics and glass, as well as textiles in 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.
