Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Lokal is a Helsinki–based concept gallery bringing forth local artwork and collectible design. Inspired by a blend of artistic expression and craftsmanship, Lokal embraces sustainability and small–scale production. Fostering a supportive creative community rooted in heritage and a close relationship to nature is at the core of their activity. Lokal’s curated exhibitions can be viewed both at their homelike gallery space in Helsinki, as well as online. During 3daysofdesign, Lokal collaborates with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark to present an exhibition featuring a group of Finnish artists and makers working at the intersection of fine art and functionality.

Since launching, Tekla has embodied an honest commitment to uncompromising quality. With a foundation in bedding, the full collection now comprises pieces for the entire home, including towels, sleepwear and blankets—all made to be lived in and made to last. Tekla holds B Corp certification, joining a global movement of people using business as a force for good. Tekla is available at its Copenhagen and London stores, globally online and through a handful of carefully selected retail partners in Europe, North America and the Asia–Pacific.

At Kolding School of Design, creative people from all over the world come together to do just that—through craftsmanship, artistic expression, and research. The teaching is based on practical experience, the latest knowledge, and close collaboration with the outside world.
