rolf.k is a Copenhagen–based design studio founded by Rolf Knudsen, who holds a degree in Architecture and Product Design from the Royal College of Art in London. His practice revolves around the cross–pollination of ideas and projects, focusing primarily on lighting but also encompassing furniture and sculptural objects, produced as both one–offs and larger editions. The work explores new ways of expressing how objects shape everyday life, transcending traditional disciplines, conventions, and cultural boundaries. As a partner in Studio Roso, Rolf Knudsen has undertaken large–scale art and design commissions for major clients worldwide.
