Modern Metier is a French design platform with a curated selection of contemporary brands and progressive designers. Working with talents from Paris to Stockholm, the platform represents a select roster of European designers, each distinguished by a singular perspective and original point of view. The name “métier,” drawn from the French word for craft, reflects the studio’s commitment to quality and enduring craftsmanship. In 2024, Modern Metier introduced its first collection of furniture and lighting named 'Solstice' in collaboration with French designer Léa Zeroil. Each piece is developed in close dialogue with the designer and local artisans specialising in woodwork, ceramics, upholstery and metalwork.

Modern Metier and French designer Léa Zeroil bring their Solstice collection to Copenhagen, marking the brand's first presentation outside of Paris. Inspired by the sun as a symbol of time and seasonal change, the series draws on mythological references and the rich shades of the natural world. Characterised by poetic forms and a refined material palette including polished metals, noble woods, raw silk, and ceramics, Solstice continues to grow and evolve. For 3daysofdesign, Modern Metier will unveil new pieces alongside different finishes and materials, offering a glimpse into the maison’s ongoing research.

Mikkel Nielsen is a Copenhagen–based design studio producing architectural lamps through 3D printing in bioplast. Each lamp is designed and produced in Copenhagen in small, limited series. The collection is defined by a clear formal logic: a single organic element repeated twelve times to form a balanced circular composition, creating a strong and recognisable identity. Production is intentionally kept small, allowing close control of material, surface, colour and light quality. The studio focuses on durability and long–term relevance rather than trends. At 3daysofdesign, the SSPL lamp is presented in 20 new colours.

Founded in 1985, Santa & Cole is an independent editor of thoughtful design objects, art and books headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. It’s a practice rooted in a discerning eye: choosing pieces with intuitive precision, often created by others, and bringing them to light, sharing them widely, safeguarding authorship and championing their value. With an aesthetic which leans more timeless than futuristic, Santa & Cole favours history over fashion, silence over noise. Garde Hvalsøe has, since 1990, created kitchens and interiors shaped by hand, material, and architectural intent. Each project begins with natural materials and the people who will live with it. Made to order, every detail is considered in relation to its purpose and surroundings. Rooted in Danish craftsmanship, the work reflects a belief in making things properly, allowing time, technique, and material to define the result. Interiors made to be used, to age, and to remain.

Bongusta is a crossover brand founded in 2021, shaped by a shared love of fashion, interior design, and bold colours. Thoughtfully designed to bring small moments of joy into everyday life, bright and joyful colours are combined with durable materials and responsible production. The focus is on creating products of the highest quality—made to be used, loved, and enjoyed again and again. Every design aims to add comfort and joy to daily routines: a warm rug welcoming tired feet in the morning, the softest towel waiting after a shower, or a cozy set of terry clothes made for all–day comfort. A–POC, the acronym of 'A Piece Of Cloth', is the name of the integrated design and manufacturing system first introduced in Paris by Issey Miyake in 1998. A–POC revolutionised the process of clothes–making with its innovative concept of a streamlined, all–in–one operation, in which all the parts of the clothing are pre–woven into a single piece of cloth. Launched in 2021, A–POC ABLE ISSEY MIYAKE aims to realise the infinite potential of the A–POC system with society in mind—hence the name 'ABLE'. The brand’s designer Yoshiyuki Miyamae and his team of engineers value the dialogue between creator and wearer, as they engage with different professions and industries to further explore new possibilities in design and making.

Seino Takashi Design is a design company founded in Chiba, Japan, in 2020 by Takashi Seino. Guided by the theme of universality, the studio works across interior and product design, carefully considering the relationship between people, objects and spaces while valuing materials. Its designs emerge through dialogue, embracing clients, users, materials and nature. The philosophy is inspired by the Japanese concept Sampō Yoshi—“good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society.” This principle guides the studio beyond profit, encouraging meaningful contributions to society and fostering long–term relationships built on trust.
