Jo Andersson Studios is a contemporary glass art and design studio based in Sweden. Exploring light, colour and form, the studio creates bold, hand–blown glass sculptures, lighting and unique art objects. An emphasis on movement and presence runs through the work. Rooted in studio craft and material exploration, the practice balances sculptural expression with functional design, creating works that engage both space and perception.
Jo Andersson Studios presents "Drippy", a new collection of sculptural lighting during 3daysofdesign with Material Matters. Working with hand–blown glass, the studio explores the fluidity of the material in both form and light, creating pieces that exist between sculpture and function. Characterised by organic volume and layered translucency, the works capture the moment molten glass begins to shift and settle, casting a soft atmospheric glow. Gold and silver are incorporated into the glass, while table lamps sit on crafted wood bases and hanging pieces feature brass fittings, adding material contrast.
