Natural Material Studio is an award-winning, Copenhagen-based design and research studio redefining material innovation for a fluid future. Founded in 2018 by Bonnie Hvillum, the studio transforms natural and discarded resources into bespoke biomaterials, objects and environments that seamlessly merge functionality, artistry and circularity. Through reimagined design processes and architectural structures, Natural Material Studio is committed to shaping a more sustainable and interconnected world. With an experimental and future-focused approach, Natural Material Studio’s cross-disciplinary team works to explore new possibilities within the convergence of material science, artistic ingenuity and spatial design.

Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Inspired by Bornholm’s nature and light, its tactile materials resonate with works by local and international artists. During 3daysofdesign, you can visit Galleri Sonja in Kvindernes Bygning.

Conceived as part gallery, part archive, and part marketplace, aarticles is a place to encounter crafted design through process, presence and material intelligence. It began from the belief that objects gain depth through company. New commissions and found objects enter the same catalogue, with each collection joining what came before and leaving room for what follows. The platform was formed as a way of looking closely, placing contemporary and found objects within a longer craft lineage and recognising their measured persistence across generations.
