Gancedo is a textile editor and manufacturer, founded in Barcelona in 1945 and interwoven with the designer community ever since. With a legacy of over 75 years, the Gancedo family has been dedicated to fabrics and interior design for an entire life. Recently revamped through a comprehensive rebranding and a new flagship store in Madrid by architect Teresa Sapey, the company has also undergone critical technological upgrades along with improvements in efficiency and logistics. Furthermore, a strong commitment to sustainability and transparency is at the center of the company mission. The sum of expertise, acknowledgement and textile innovation has turned the brand Gancedo into a guiding star for designers facing any textile challenges.

The collection now features more than 50 timeless pieces, each meticulously crafted by skilled and dedicated craftspeople using only the finest materials. With deep respect for the original heritage, House of Finn Juhl has heavily invested in Danish production. Through two workshops specialising in traditional woodworking and upholstery, the quality and durability of each piece of furniture are ensured.

light, and impulse shape our everyday environments, revealing a choreography of movement, mood, and meaning.

Objects and belongings gather where the light invites them, arranged through instinctive gestures and responsive habit. The space is alive with dualities: rest and action, solitude and connection, clarity and obscurity. Public Crafts focuses on preserving and reintroducing traditional Japanese materials, which are fading from modern life, through design and spatial composition. The team collaborates with skilled craftsmen in Japan to create handmade products. Additionally, Public Crafts partners with Pure Fabrications, a small atelier based in Copenhagen that creates textiles and clothing entirely by hand in collaboration with its local community. Sharing a common vision, Public Crafts supports Pure Fabrications' efforts to expand the craft community across generations and continents.
