Formosus Home was born from a desire to bridge the traditions of Eastern craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. The brand’s mission is to revive Taiwan’s endangered woodworking heritage, merge it with modern design, and share exceptional furniture with the world. Based in Amsterdam, Formosus Home places these masterful skills on a global stage, creating a dialogue between Eastern heritage and Western design sensibilities. Its furniture is designed to reveal its character quietly over time rather than demand attention. By prioritising solid wood and natural materials, each piece is inherently repairable, making recycling a distant last resort.

Established in 1980, Linie Design is a Danish design house with traditions deeply rooted in Scandinavian design. Today, Linie Design is one of the largest developers of handmade rugs in Europe, sold in over 70 countries, including in their own brand store in Copenhagen. All rugs are handmade in India by skilled weavers and crafted from carefully selected materials, chosen for their durability and unique properties. With great respect for craftsmanship, Linie Design continuously challenges traditional weaving and knotting techniques, pushing creative boundaries in the development of new designs by experimenting with materials, shapes, and textures.

The story began with a vision of creating a new generation of interior design accessories where Danish design tradition and functionality go hand in hand. Over the past 20 years, FROST Denmark has established itself among renowned design firms, offering designs that align with consumer lifestyles. Behind the brand are independent designers such as Bønnelycke MDD, Busk+Hertzog, Paul Leroy, and Henrik Tengler, who contribute to its interior product line across nine finishes. Marta is a Los Angeles–based, globally–engaged gallery for art and design. Founded by partners and designers Benjamin Critton and Heidi Korsavong in 2019, the gallery makes space for artists to experiment with the utility of design, and for designers to explore the abandonment of function. Marta’s curatorial and publication programs take interest in the process and facilitators of a work’s creation as well as the narrative of its creator(s). Marta embraces the intersection of and the transition between disciplines, advocates for diversity in design, and promotes broad access to the arts.

Yobiiro fuses traditional craftsmanship from regions across Japan with cutting–edge technology, transforming them into products that awaken the senses and emotions. It treats subtle shifts in light, scent, and temperature as colours that enrich everyday life. Like the first pour that draws water from a well, it invites new perception and awareness. Working with production regions, craftspeople, and technologists, Yobiiro explores forms of value beyond functionality or numbers—value meant to be felt. In doing so, it brings a first drop into daily life and sketches new possibilities for the future.

Lokal is a Helsinki–based concept gallery bringing forth local artwork and collectible design. Inspired by a blend of artistic expression and craftsmanship, Lokal embraces sustainability and small–scale production. Fostering a supportive creative community rooted in heritage and a close relationship to nature is at the core of their activity. Lokal’s curated exhibitions can be viewed both at their homelike gallery space in Helsinki, as well as online. During 3daysofdesign, Lokal collaborates with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark to present an exhibition featuring a group of Finnish artists and makers working at the intersection of fine art and functionality.
