Ex Solo presents a series of art and design pieces by 7 artists and designers. The projects are created from waste materials and developed in a one-week workshop at Sydhavn Recycling Center. Ex solo is a workshop and exhibition for sustainable ideas and design made in collaboration with Sydhavn Recycling Center.

Exhibiting artists: Helena Lehn (DK), Thomas Frederiksen (DK), Santiago Gonzalez (AR), Jairo Alvarez (AR), Philipp Aussem (DE), Paul de Medeiros (NL), Caroline Bille (DK) The exhibition is located at Øens Have.

August Sandgren makes mess pretty by handcrafting timeless, functional and aesthetic storage objects. With respect for its 100-year-old box-making heritage, they offer storage solutions for every storage need in today’s cluttered world – at home and in the office. In addition to general storage boxes, they offer a selection of exquisite jewellery boxes, watch boxes and storage on-the-go solutions. Their beautiful objects are either made from upcycled materials sourced from exclusive partners in the European furniture and fashion industry or from oeko-tex-certified leather. Every object from August Sandgren is handcrafted in Europe and made to last a lifetime or more – evident in both design, craftsmanship and choice of materials.

For over two decades, House of Finn Juhl has held the exclusive rights to revive and produce Finn Juhl’s iconic furniture. The collection now features more than 50 timeless pieces, each meticulously crafted by skilled and dedicated craftspeople using only the finest materials. Combining artistic vision with functional aesthetics, Finn Juhl created designs that continue to resonate and remain relevant across generations. With deep respect for the original heritage, House of Finn Juhl has heavily invested in Danish production. Through two workshops specialising in traditional woodworking and upholstery, the quality and durability of each piece of furniture are ensured.

Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from start to finish, reflecting a commitment to thoughtful design that brings serenity and joy to everyday spaces. The studio’s entirely human, hands–on process results in organic, wabi–sabi–inspired creations that cannot be replicated by mass production. Using materials like resin, brass, and stainless steel, the designs combine minimalist elegance with practical functionality. The collections are featured in high–end restaurants, luxury hotels, and yachts and are available at the showroom, select boutiques worldwide, and the studio’s online shop.
