Furniture ought to make room for people. This has been the philosophy of FDB Møbler since its founding in 1942, when architect Børge Mogensen led the design studio. While new designers have since joined, the founding principles remain unchanged: to create beautiful, functional and well–crafted furniture that supports everyday life at home. Today, FDB Møbler is internationally recognised as a pioneer of Danish design. From iconic classics to contemporary pieces, each design reflects the same ambition—to enhance quality of life through thoughtful, enduring furniture.

Founded in 2019, Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 140 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign—an appearance that exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation. Building on the success of last year, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign taking up, once again, the residence in the heart of Christianshavn, positioned as a key destination within the city.
