Confluentia Colorum is a site–specific installation presented by File Under Pop in Marmorkirken. It explores colour not as decoration, but as substance, energy and relation—formed through light yet experienced through the body as vibration, atmosphere and movement. Curated by Josephine Yaa Akuamoa, the work transforms the church into an immersive environment where colour is seen, felt and heard. Through art, craft, scent and sound, it reflects on presence, material awareness and colour’s power to shape emotion, perception and human connection.
The installation reimagines Marmorkirken’s pews with hand–painted textiles in all 105 File Under Pop paint colours, while niches interpret the five liturgical colours through embroidery, sculpture, silk, paint and tiles. A central film created by Isak Hoffmeyer and edited by Adam Nielsen, features artists Farshad Farzankia, Femke Mølbach Slot, Pilou Asbæk, Oh Land and Adi Zukanovic. Zukanovic also composed the site-specific score, produced with Rune Nissen and presented through Bang & Olufsen sound systems. Additional collaborators include Vertigo, Aesop and a wider interdisciplinary team of artists and makers.
