Confluentia Colorum is a site–specific installation presented by File Under Pop in Marmorkirken. It explores colour not as decoration, but as substance, energy and relation—formed through light yet experienced through the body as vibration, atmosphere and movement. Curated by Josephine Yaa Akuamoa, the work transforms the church into an immersive environment where colour is seen, felt and heard. Through art, craft, scent and sound, it reflects on presence, material awareness and colour’s power to shape emotion, perception and human connection.
The installation reimagines Marmorkirken’s pews through hand-painted textiles in all 105 File Under Pop colours, while the church’s niches reinterpret the five liturgical colours through embroidery, vinyl, silk, paint, and tiles. At its centre is a film by Isak Hoffmeyer, edited by Adam Nielsen and Sylvester Nielsen, featuring Emily Gernild, Pilou Asbæk, Oh Land, Femke Mølbach Slot, and Adi Zukanovic. Zukanovic also crafted the sound design with Rune Nissen-Petersen Kappel, presented through Bang & Olufsen Drewsens systems. Supported by The Lab, with contributions from Aesop, Ábbatte & Mayice Studio, Nuet Ceramics, Sidsel Marie Bøg, Mette Eis, Sarah Becker, and Vertigo.
