The mission of the company is to offer an original point of view, forming the shape of the future, giving character to homes, offices, and living spaces around the world and to conceive and create products with a distinctive design and a strong personality: the expression of sophisticated, not pretentious luxury.

ykoon is a design label by Steven Gosseye built on conscious choice, valued not only for its design, but for the story, craftsmanship and integrity behind each piece. Each object seeks simplicity in form while remaining engaging through detail and proportion. Grounded in a strong technical foundation, every design is carefully refined down to its construction and finishing. The story of each object begins with an idea and evolves through sketches and prototypes into a well–considered result. Working exclusively with solid hardwoods, ykoon employs traditional joinery techniques, reflecting a deep respect for craftsmanship. Sustainability, tradition and character come together in objects shaped with care and intention.

Grounded in strong design principles including colour theory, spatial planning and composition, her work is recognised for its clarity and narrative depth.
