Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. Jeroen De Ruddere is a Belgian designer creating sculptural lighting objects rooted in material, proportion and emotional presence. Each piece begins with an idea, a tension that needs to be felt, and is guided by a deep respect for sustainable materials, form and timeless simplicity. Drawing inspiration from nature, architecture and human sensibility, his designs balance strength and softness. Solid wood bases in oak, walnut or mahogany are combined with carefully selected textiles, resulting in objects that feel both architectural and sculptural.
