Koukos de Lab is a material–driven design studio based in Lesvos, Greece, exploring sustainable design through research, experimentation, and local production. The studio develops innovative materials and objects by transforming agricultural by–products into meaningful design resources. At the core of its practice is Koukoutsi, an eco–material made from the final waste of olive oil production, primarily olive cores and pips. Designed as a sustainable alternative to conventional materials, Koukoutsi combines durability, water resistance, and a distinctive tactile quality. Suitable for objects, furniture, and surface applications, it reflects Koukos de Lab’s commitment to circular design and responsible material transformation today, locally.

EETAL is a project launched in 2021 by Japan Benex Corporation, a company specialising in precision sheet metal processing technology. Through collaborations with designers, it reconsiders the creative potential of sheet metal from multiple perspectives. Embracing an experimental approach, the project challenges conventional notions of industrial production and explores new dialogues between sheet metal and design. The name "EETAL" originates from "SHEET METAL." It combines "EET" from "SHEET" and "TAL" from "METAL," forming a coined term that symbolises a new approach to sheet metal design.

Lapalma’s story began over 40 years ago in Padua, Italy, rooted in a heritage of craftsmanship. FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, presenting exclusive design brands and their latest novelties in an inspiring and relevant setting. The Odd Fellow Palace once again forms the backdrop for FRAMING, with all three floors of the impressive Rococo building from the mid–18th century, including its two wings, offering both indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces for national and international brands alike. In addition, a solo exhibition will take place at Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv, just a short walk from the main exhibition on Bredgade. This year marks the sixth edition of FRAMING, featuring more than 40 exhibiting brands.
