Public Crafts focuses on preserving and reintroducing traditional Japanese materials, which are fading from modern life, through design and spatial composition. The team collaborates with skilled craftsmen in Japan to create handmade products. Additionally, Public Crafts partners with Pure Fabrications, a small atelier based in Copenhagen that creates textiles and clothing entirely by hand in collaboration with its local community. Sharing a common vision, Public Crafts supports Pure Fabrications' efforts to expand the craft community across generations and continents.

With a strong core value of supporting emerging talent, the brand embraces collaborations with both established and lesser–known Danish designers. CaDot Design prioritises sustainability, working primarily with wood and steel—the most durable materials available—to ensure furniture that withstands generations of use.
