And, in close collaboration with some of the world’s most influential contemporary designers, Abstracta is constantly exploring new ways to create better soundscapes. Since its inception in 1960, Expormim has consistently embraced a global perspective in design, craftsmanship and innovation. Their catalogues hold original pieces for indoor and outdoor use, committed to environmental sustainability, quality and good design. This is how they have quickly moved beyond the intimacy of the household, finding their place in an increasing number of contract projects, from luxury hotels and restaurants to chic cafés, gastropubs, and exclusive public and private events.

Brighton based Spark & Bell is a B Corp lighting design studio that is pioneering a new era of sustainable lighting, combining community focused craftsmanship with quality and responsible materials in its contemporary design pieces. Championing circular design principles in daily practice, Spark & Bell supports domestic suppliers and collaborates with local artisans working in wood, ceramics, cork and jesmonite. It has also taken to developing materials from sources headed for landfill, in their Brighton workshop. This appreciation for local heritage craft and dedication to sustainability is resonating with a growing customer base that values both environmental responsibility and unique aesthetics.

AOT is a small family–run design company based in Copenhagen. Driven by challenging materials, they aim to liberate these materials from what is expected of them. Inventing new hand–made processes is a core element of their practice where doing things the conventionally 'wrong' way, has proved to be ideal for creating things that are both original and classic. Things that are easy to read yet easy on the eye! AOT is both a design studio and a production house and everything they produce is made in Denmark — either in–house or with carefully sourced producers. This is a key part of AOT, as it enables their insistence and audacity to create things that are hand-made in Denmark and still affordable.
