At their workshop on Portugal's Silver Coast, De La Espada combines artisanal furniture making savoir faire with rigorous, research–based contemporary design. Their portfolio of iconic and timeless pieces includes designs by their in–house studio, De La Espada Atelier, and by great figures in the world of international design. Specialising in woodworking and upholstery, they also collaborate with Portuguese artisans across disciplines. De La Espada sits at the heart of design and craft in Portugal and represents true luxury: creativity rather than imitation; extensive research and development; traditional methods that are in scarce supply; a singular aesthetic point–of–view; and no compromise when it comes to materials or effort.

Astep is a young, contemporary design company with a rich legacy. Founded in 2014 by Alessandro Sarfatti with the vision of creating and curating timeless design objects with an innovative approach and environmental awareness. The concept behind Woodnotes, established in 1987, is to combine artistic creativity inspired by Finland’s rugged nature with technology to shape beautiful local raw materials. The softness of wool, the purity of paper and the glow of linen define a collection of timeless products with rare aesthetic quality. Woodnotes’ unique paper yarn innovation results in durable, allergy–friendly designer rugs and blinds made from paper yarn and cotton. These are presented alongside outdoor rugs, tufted wool–linen carpets, and atelier–woven rugs in cotton–paper and wool–paper yarns, among others.
