Formfin was founded in 1946 and is located on the west coast of Norway. Since its foundation, the company’s passion has been to produce furniture that transforms perceptions and makes a statement in the world through powerful design and high comfort. Inspired by Norwegian nature and lifestyle, Formfin combines these elements with its designs and craftsmanship to create beautiful, timeless furniture. The company collaborates with some of Norway’s most renowned designers, as well as a new generation of young and up–and–coming talents. This approach helps preserve and enhance iconic designs while also inspiring innovation and challenging the market with fresh ideas.

The brand believes that both handmade and machine–crafted items possess energy, subtly influencing surroundings and emotions. With a bespoke rug service, customers can select colours, designs, and sizes tailored to their style. Crafted with care using natural plant dyes and virgin wool from local shepherds, Madouk promotes sustainability while preserving threatened ancient techniques.

Visitors to this year’s 3daysofdesign are invited to Petra, a new boutique hotel reimagined by &Tradition. In collaboration with Copenhagen Design Hotels, the original Kay Fisker building from 1943 has been carefully restored, preserving original details, and blending them with &Tradition's contemporary and classic pieces. A home away from home to dine, drink and stay, Petra warmly welcomes seasoned design lovers, friends, and curious newcomers to discover the charm and distinctive personality of Petra.
