Tonone was founded in 2013 by designer Anton de Groof and is based in The Netherlands. The brand is known for the use of characteristic construction tools as a visual and a functional basis for innovative light design. During the design- and production process the entire life cycle of the products is taken into account when it comes to sustainability, efficiency and logistics. Although the handwriting of Anton de Groof and his team is still to be described as bold and functional, the newly introduced light designs have evaluated to a slick, unadomed and smart lightconcept. Even when there is no visibility of the used mechanics, Tonone’s signature is still recognized in every next step of its lighting design.

During 3daysofdesign, Auping will present a newly updated version of the Essential bed. Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, the bed reflects a calm, minimal expression where balance, simplicity and functionality are at the core. With its clean lines, refined proportions and thoughtful material choices, the Essential bed brings a sense of tranquility to the bedroom. The design focuses on what truly matters — comfort, quality and longevity — creating a bed that feels both contemporary and timeless. Designed for life.

Lokal is a Helsinki–based concept gallery bringing forth local artwork and collectible design. Inspired by a blend of artistic expression and craftsmanship, Lokal embraces sustainability and small–scale production. Fostering a supportive creative community rooted in heritage and a close relationship to nature is at the core of their activity. Lokal’s curated exhibitions can be viewed both at their homelike gallery space in Helsinki, as well as online. During 3daysofdesign, Lokal collaborates with The Finnish Cultural Institute in Denmark to present an exhibition featuring a group of Finnish artists and makers working at the intersection of fine art and functionality.

Since 1935, Anglepoise has been a pioneer in lighting design, known for crafting innovative, spring–balanced lamps that combine form with flawless function. The design was invented by British engineer George Carwardine, and the brand began with the invention of a task lamp that moved like the human arm—a breakthrough that forever changed how people interact with light. Headquartered in Denmead, UK, Anglepoise lamps have lit the desks of designers, the walls of museums, and the homes of creative thinkers around the world. Concrete vessels and reliefs by Susanne Storm merge artistic expression, material knowledge and functional purpose. Working with a material traditionally associated with weight, Storm challenges expectations by sculpting within a brief and intense creation window. This urgency is reflected in the works, whose forms appear almost alive, retaining the movement that shaped them. Cracks, layers and surface marks remain as traces of transformation. A restrained use of colour allows each piece to stand beautifully alone or in dialogue with others, particularly in contrast to modern, austere design. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, presenting exclusive design brands and their latest novelties in an inspiring and relevant setting. The Odd Fellow Palace once again forms the backdrop for FRAMING, with all three floors of the impressive Rococo building from the mid–18th century, including its two wings, offering both indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces for national and international brands alike. In addition, a solo exhibition will take place at Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv, just a short walk from the main exhibition on Bredgade. This year marks the sixth edition of FRAMING, featuring more than 40 exhibiting brands.

Nymphenburg is one of the last and purest manufactories of its kind. Since its founding in 1747, the high art of porcelain production has been cultivated at the manufactory of the Bavarian royal family. Manufactum still means the same today: made entirely by hand, using techniques that have been passed down and preserved from generation to generation.
