Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 150 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign. The debut fair exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation during Copenhagen's design festival. Building on this success, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign, reflecting design and architecture's fascination with what materials can do—and what they should no longer be asked to do.

Phantom Objects is a Belgian brand founded by Frederik Delbart with John Ghekiere, exploring form, material, and presence. At the intersection of craftsmanship and innovation, it creates limited–edition pepper mills, containers, and tabletop objects that transcend function to become sculptural pieces. Rooted in an architectural sensibility, each object balances proportion, restraint, and material depth. What began over 20 years ago as a spontaneous experiment in Tom Rossau’s Copenhagen workshop has evolved into a distinctive design philosophy. While shaping wooden slats into a cylindrical form, Tom discovered the expressive potential of light, material, and form, and a new chapter in Danish lighting design was born. Today, the collection has grown to include a wide range of materials and styles, yet the brand remains rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and sculptural design. Each lamp is still meticulously designed and handcrafted in Copenhagen, with a strong focus on quality and responsible production, bringing Danish design to interiors around the world.

Hind Rabii places emotion at the heart of design, conceiving light as both expression and experience. Founded in 2005, the studio collaborates with a select circle of creative partners, sharing a vision where material becomes language. Murano glass, ceramic, brass, and marble are shaped into luminous objects imagined as jewels for space—timeless, sculptural, and emotionally resonant. Technology lies at the core of this poetic approach: engineering and design merge to create architectural lighting defined by precision, invisible integration, and durability. Beyond objects, Hind Rabii builds a virtuous ecosystem, working with Venetian artisans and carefully chosen distributors who embody shared values, poetic, technical, and ethical.

It’s all about furniture heritage and family heritage. Founded in 2024 by Edward Gubi, a third–generation member of the GUBI family, DesignPreowned is built on a passion for preserving and renewing design history. Together with his team, Edward Gubi sources and acquires pre–owned furniture primarily from Scandinavia—often overlooked classics from the 1930s to the 1980s—which are carefully restored and upcycled to fit contemporary interiors.

Damixa is rooted in Danish design and creates refined, built–to–last kitchen and bathroom tap–ware. Part of FM Mattsson Denmark, the brand has delivered tap–ware since 1932. The focus is on clean forms, precise proportions, durable finishes and responsible water use, with solutions designed to help reduce water and energy consumption without compromising comfort. The range is developed with project specification in mind, offering a coherent design language across spaces and applications. At 3daysofdesign, Damixa presents aesthetic collections of taps, showers and accessories for indoor and outdoor settings, made for architect–led projects and long–term visual appeal.
