Throughout the years, Skovby has educated more than 250 men and women within the field of furniture production. With an inclusive staff policy, a flexible senior policy and a constant flow of around 10 apprentices, Skovby carry core values while also investing in the future. Skovby work hard and passionately each day to uphold the traditions of great Danish design. Skovby still produces furniture locally, in Denmark–strengthening and embracing the know-how and craftsmanship necessary for creating the ultimate the ultimate Danish design piece.

Maison Rhizomes, founded in 2022, transforms contemporary painting into the medium of hand-knotted rugs, creating collectible works of art in limited editions of twenty-two. Drawing inspiration from each artist’s technique, palette, and creative vision, the studio reinterprets their visual language in textile form. Crafted in India and Nepal by skilled artisans using ethically sourced wool, silk, and linen, each rug preserves the emotional depth of the original work. The current collection features Belgian artist and co-founder Charlotte Culot and is expanding to include designs by French artist Ludovic Philippon.
