The story of sog begins in the world of bespoke furniture in Japan, where its creators listened to countless stories—the single line drawn by an architect, the quiet wish of a user. To answer each one, the brand's artisans sculpted wood, tailored fabrics, and bent metal. The myriad forms born and then vanished in this process became what they call the “memories of design.” From this vast accumulation of memories and experience, “sog” was born: a brand that carves out the "So” (素)—the elemental form destined to become the standard of the future.

What started back in 2012 as a one–man show has now, in little more than a decade, become an established European design brand: Freifrau Manufaktur. Operating from Lemgo, a small town in Westphalia, Germany, this exclusive manufacturer of seating furniture is characterised by the highest possible levels of comfort, lovingly–rendered details, and exacting quality and sustainability standards. Working with big–name designers and those at the start of their careers alike, since it was founded, Freifrau has built up a portfolio of timeless chairs, armchairs, and settees, wide–ranging and yet all with a unifying emphasis on individual comfort, total versatility, and undeniable individuality.

ykoon is a design label by Steven Gosseye built on conscious choice, valued not only for its design, but for the story, craftsmanship and integrity behind each piece. Each object seeks simplicity in form while remaining engaging through detail and proportion. Grounded in a strong technical foundation, every design is carefully refined down to its construction and finishing. The story of each object begins with an idea and evolves through sketches and prototypes into a well–considered result. Working exclusively with solid hardwoods, ykoon employs traditional joinery techniques, reflecting a deep respect for craftsmanship. Born in Rome—Refined in Helsinki—Designed for Generations. RYTSOLA, a Finnish–Italian family company, makes its international debut at 3daysofdesign, bringing its cross–cultural designs to Copenhagen for the very first time. The brand is the realisation of a shared vision between mother and son, Carola and Aksel Rytsola. For them, design is an act of hospitality, a bridging of cultures, and a commitment to longevity. They believe that great design must always serve a purpose while fostering human connection. Together, they combine the clean, natural harmony of Finland with the tactile elegance of Italy, designing handmade furniture and marble accessories meant to be touched, used, and ultimately, passed down.

For the first time, inter.agcy and 3daysofdesign present GROUPED, a new showroom concept and exhibition in the latest Design District — Islands Brygge. Focusing on a keen attention to details, the international group of exhibitors represented are connected through their rigorous design processes. Located in a unique space in the city—an everyday hub for designer in Copenhagen—the exhibition combines an exposed, paired-back aesthetic with contemporary showroom elements, resulting in a memorable multi-brand experience.
