Örsjö is founded on simple values and strong convictions, dedicated to developing and handcrafting premium lighting in its local factory with the sincere ambition of leaving the best possible mark on the planet. Handcrafted objects carry an intangible sense of human touch and warmth—a connection between creator and user that is often lost in industrial production. For this reason, craftsmanship lies at the heart of Örsjö’s work, with local artisans involved across the entire product range. Welding, soldering, bending, polishing, painting, assembling, glass blowing, and leather carving all take place either in Örsjö’s own factory or in trusted workshops within the region. Greenlandic designer Nickie Isaksen presents her brand Isaksen Design at the Greenland Representation during 3daysofdesign. Born in Paamiut and raised in Nuuk, Isaksen draws deeply on Greenland’s spiritual traditions, nature, and cultural heritage. Since founding her brand in 2002, she has worked to tell Greenland’s story through timeless, handcrafted fashion.

Furniture ought to make room for people. That has been the philosophy since 1942, when FDB Møbler was founded, with architect Børge Mogensen heading up the studio. Many new designers have since entered the fold, but the foundational principles remain the same: To create beautiful, functional and exceptionally crafted furniture that makes room for everyday living at home. FDB Møbler is internationally known as a frontrunner of Danish design. It’s a story of classic pieces to be passed down from generation to generation. Regardless of whether they are talking about iconic pieces or new, innovative designs, the goal is the same: To have the veritable quality of life that was envisioned when the first pieces of furniture emerged in 1942.

Anna von Lipa unites Danish design with centuries–old Czech glassmaking traditions. Founded by Danish designer Jytte Correll after discovering Bohemian glass artistry in Prague in 1990, the brand creates handblown glassware designed to bring beauty into everyday life.
