PBJ Designhouse was founded in 1968 and has been Danish–owned ever since. PBJ is known for making modern home furniture inspired by classic Danish design and they now also expands into commercial interiors. As workplaces and hospitality spaces embrace home–like aesthetics, PBJ adapts its classics for lounges, conference rooms, and restaurants. Each piece meets strict sustainability standards, including testing of surfaces, durability and strengths. The result is furniture with idea and identity, form and function, finish and finesse, both for private homes and contract markets.

Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 150 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign. The debut fair exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation during Copenhagen's design festival. Building on this success, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign, reflecting design and architecture's fascination with what materials can do—and what they should no longer be asked to do.

Fogia’s mission as a furniture maker is to turn exceptional ideas into well–crafted pieces. At its centre is the factory, where wood, textiles and skilled hands come together, giving designers and craftspeople the time to explore how sketches become lasting objects. The aim is to create furniture that people grow attached to over time. This comes from balancing function with friction—the detail, tension or gesture that gives character. One without the other is incomplete. Working closely with designers who question conventions with finesse, Fogia shapes furniture that feels considered. ESCENTIAL CPH is a Copenhagen–based perfume composition house led by perfumer Emmanuel Martini. Founded in Hong Kong in 2019, CHICHOIMAO is a woodworking studio co–founded by one human and two cats. Its name, 自在貓，Cantonese for a “cat at ease,” reflects a philosophy of in the moment. Although the Year of Singularity nears, the studio still believes human touch and emotional memories still count, preserved through analogue creations rather than digital ones. Every work is handcrafted with joinery techniques to honour minimalist forms and the tactile warmth of timber. These pieces bring harmony to modern homes, helping people slow down and find beauty in the lasting, soulful moments of the everyday.
