New Works presents a collection at the intersection between old and new. Light and dark. Design and art. The collection pays homage to the strong Scandinavian history of craftsmanship and materiality, whilst challenging the contemporary forms of today. New Works collaborate with an international group of renowned designers and artisans, who display a matching fascination with sculptural forms and honest materials. These collaborative pursuits convey a love of the sensual, and of the bold.

MOEBE is a Danish design studio creating furniture, lighting, and objects defined by a relentless pursuit of simplicity, where visible details are the aesthetic. In a world that always demands more, MOEBE designs for less: less noise, less clutter, less waste. Each piece is stripped to its core, with structures that aren’t hidden but celebrated—where how it’s made shapes how it looks. The designs are modular, adaptable, durable, and repairable.

Located in the heart of central Copenhagen, Designmuseum Danmark is Denmark’s leading museum of Danish and international design. The museum shows up to eight exhibitions about design history, contemporary design, the design of the future, as well as Danish design icons by Verner Panton, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen and more. The museum communicates quality and craftsmanship, ideas and processes, and breakthrough within design through it’s exhibitions, events, and learning activities. Designmuseum Danmark reopened in June 2022 after two years of renovations. Guests can now visit the new museum café for coffee, lunch or dinner, the new museum shop and the museum garden, which is a quiet, green oasis in the middle of the city.
